Nintendo stole it? They funded the localization of MH3 in the west on the Wii.

At the time, the PS3 was new and just recently released. Sony demanded a level of graphic quality and trophy support for games on their system. Capcom, who's notoriously known for having financial troubles the last 10+ years, were having troubles with development as the game wasn't intended to be a top of the line graphical game. Nintendo stepped in and basically said their system is eas...

Watch it be that unreleased "Know Your Friends" party game for Wii U... That would definitely surprise players; not in a good way though

It's the opposite for me. I know a lot of people who are interested in it; especially people who had no interest in the Wii or Wii U.
We can't necessarily speak about user-base since the system isn't even out but look at SFV on the PS4; a userbase of over 47 million yet their game hasn't even moved 2 million. You can blame it on a bare-bones launch, which I do, but it's not always about user-base. So the two points you brought up: no one YOU know interested in it...

February is gonna be full of worthwhile games.
My list so far is Persona 5, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Digimon World: Next Order, Halo Wars 2, and State of Decay 2. My wallet and girlfriend are going to hate me this February...

Neat but at the same time, I'm worried cause this also happened with No Man's Sky and Destiny and we know how those two turned out so I hope this doesn't happen with Nioh.

Does anyone remember that Nioh was labeled as a console exclusive since TGS 2014? I wonder if this game will ever come to PC.

Developing for the Nintendo Switch seems ideal cause you won't lose your handheld sales in Japan and if the home/handheld hybrid concept works, you also have a home console version for the west. Two birds with one stone, especially considering how big the handheld market it is Japan when compared to home consoles and vice versa in the west.

Pokemon Moon for me this month. I am curious if Watch_Dogs 2 will be like Assassin's Creed 2 where it is better than the first game.

This game may have had a rocky launch but there is no denying the insane amount of support Evolution has been giving this title the last couple years. Kudos for their support of the game

One of my favorite platformers. My girlfriend and I loved playing coop and I am proud to have beaten the 1-heart mode by myself. Talk about difficult.

Watch any ad for any device with a screen, there is nearly always a disclaimer that says "on-screen images simulated" or something similar. I was surprised this trailer didn't have the disclaimer, but I'm not surprised they used simulated images. If nothing else it means you don't have to worry about the glare from the studio lights on the screen. This is what I meant. I don't know how people aren't understanding that.

"There was no mention of multiplayer within the product description on the PlayStation Store."

I mean, the quote below is on PlayStation's website for the game and it can be misinterpreted for multiplayer.

"As you progress, you will come across countless undiscovered solar systems, planets, lifeforms and much more. You can choose to share your discoveries with other players, naming them and adding them to the Galactic Map, forever ass...

We've seen this happen before a generation ago, it's not too farfetched. Monster Hunter Tri is a good example of that.
But in reality, it is probably just shifting focus to include Switch development.

My copy for Vita came in yesterday and when I opened the box, my girlfriend told me she plans on playing this before I do. I might have to invest in the PS4 version as well so we can both play.

I'm personally tired of seeing people say 'I don't care for X product' cause it brings nothing to the discussion besides negativity. If you don't care, why spend the time to write an article on why you don't care?

And yes, like you said, 'opinions' but wouldn't it be more productive or worthwhile to write about something you do care about or are looking forward to instead?

Adding the screen content in post-production is pretty standard for eons now, since the refreshing screen would look like garbage straight from camera. Why are people surprised?

In my opinion, people shouldn't use sales to define a great product. Not all best-selling products are good products just like not all bad selling products are bad.

If we believe more sales equal a better product then Bieber albums, the Transformer films, and 50 Shades of Grey would be considered some of the best things in the world.

Exactly this. Most likely a placeholder price so people can place early pre-orders

Instead of getting defensive about what one's opinion is on a his/her personal preference for game of the year may be, why not just play the games you constantly rave about?
