Definitely can't wait for this game. I've been waiting for a new Spider-man game for years.
Did anyone play Ultimate Spider-man? That game was so much fun. I still play it on my GameCube
Awesome, thank you for the reply, I appreciate it
Has anyone tried out XCOM on the Vita? I've been tempted and now that it is on sale, I might bite the bullet and get it but I wanted to see if anyone else has tried it and could give some feedback, thanks.
No company is exempt from having failures; it's live and learn in the business world.
I mean, here is a list for Sony's failures:
Betamax
The PSP Go
UMD format
PSX(DVR)
PS Vita
And to be fair, we shouldn't leave out Microsoft:
Zune
Windows Mobile
Microsoft Kin
Windows Me
Windows Vista
What I am trying to say is every company tries something and e...
Each company has had one or two terrible hardware designs their history but with the right games, it should not be the dealbreaker. The PS2 was inferior to the Xbox and GameCube but still outsold them easily. The Wii was inferior to the 360 and PS3 but outsold them too so personally, I do not agree it has to do with hardware.
In regards to the online infrastructure, yeah it is currently not the greatest but these things take time. Nintendo was adamant against online gaming but after...
Can someone answer this question for me?
Why the constant port begging for Nintendo games? I mean, how would people react if I said "Microsoft should release Halo on the PS4" or "Sony should release Uncharted on PC"? Most likely, they'd get mad at me; however, when people say "Nintendo should release Zelda on the PC/PS4/Xbox One," people agree.
This is my opinion and I have stood by it for years and continue to: Buy the system if there are...
Ghosts 'n Goblins should get an honorary mention because that game is brutal. I still got my copy of Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts on my SNES and that game is infuriatingly difficult but I really enjoy playing it
In my opinion, the prices of the memory cards is what killed the Vita. Expecting your customers to pay 80 dollars for a 32gig SD memory card is highway robbery, especially when you can get a larger standard SD card for way cheaper. How is it our fault for not buying overpriced memory cards?
My friends and I still play ours after all these years. Mario Tennis, Super Smash Bros., Pokemon Stadium, Mario Kart, Goldeneye, StarFox 64, Mario Party, Diddy Kong Racing, Mario Golf, and Conker's Bad Fur Day are some of the games we still enjoy playing to this day. Such a great system
I don't understand why I got disagrees for saying I wish they showed something regarding the Vita. I am a Vita owner and play it on an almost daily basis so to not see anything shown bothered me.
"The biggest issue is the comments regarding some of those games have nothing to do with Sony Computer Entertainment, they don't own shenmue 3 , don't own square or anything revolving Final Fantasy 7"
While they don't own Square or anyth...
#7 Poor Communication

#5 LEGO Star Wars, Seriously?
#4 Where were the Indies?
#3 R.I.P. Vita
#2 PSVR
#1 Missing (meaning where was Shenmue III and FFVII Remake)
^The list if you don't wanna go through pages
I mentioned this in a previous post about Sony's conference but I really wished Sony gave the Vita some sort of recognition or mention. Short clips of Dragon Quest Build...
It's amazing how Splatoon hasn't left the top 10 in Japan in over a year. I'm pretty sure it's the best selling home console game this generation in Japan.
It was a good read, I enjoyed it. There has been disputes on whether games should implement difficulty settings or not(look at the recent Dark Souls 3 debate) but I feel ultimately the developers choose to do it.
Personally, difficulty settings never bothered me since I try to always play the hardest difficulty possible but adding in the options should not affect anyone. You have the option to choose between Easy or Hard. If you disagree with playing on Easy, simply don't and go...
"The main reason difficulty levels exist is to appeal to as wide of an audience as possible."
I mean, you kind of answered your own question in your article; having different difficulties can allow more people to play the game.
For example, my sisters love to play Mario Kart and have since they were younger; however, when they were younger, 150cc(which I played on) was too difficult for them so we would play on 50cc first and then eventually move up to 150cc when ...
"While [Eve: Valkyrie] was only a demo and not likely indicative of launch performance, loading the demo took the PlayStation 4 nearly four minutes."
I really hope loading times aren't this long for other games. I understand that this was only a demo but a 4 minute loading screen is still brutally long, especially when people made a big deal of Bloodborne's 20-40 second loading screens.
They still have third party on their console though, I'm not sure if there will be on Windows 10 but it seems their approach is for their games to be available to the both PC players and console players. My reasoning is that I have seen people say that they have no reason to get an Xbox if they can get all the games on PC. While true, Microsoft is still making money off of their games on their own operating system so I don't see how it is necessarily bad for them to allow their games ...
If you haven't tried Severed yet, I recommend it. It is a little on the short side but it's use of the Vita's touchscreen did not feel like a gimmick and the story is actually pretty depressing. I think I will purchase it on my Wii U and 3DS(hooray for cross-buy) as well when it releases to support DrinkBox Studios.
Personally, I don't think they are leaving the console market. I think they are going back to what they did with the original Xbox and releasing titles on both PC and Xbox (still got Halo on my original Xbox and my PC). I also don't see how it is necessarily a bad thing for Microsoft if you have to use their Windows 10 Store to purchase their games. Whether you purchase it for the Xbox or PC, they still get revenue from your purchase.
In my opinion, Bloodborne should be #1. That game is my #1 Playstation game(as of now at least) and I am happy to be a proud owner of the platinum in the game. Cannot recommend it enough
