Still patiently waiting for Cuphead. Definitely a game I'm looking forward to playing with my girlfriend
In my opinion, $10 is a bit much; however, I'm glad there are no microtransactions. A phone game I play a good amount is Digimon: Heroes and, at least with its PVP section, those who spend money on Digimoney have a better chance of getting better Digimon. The game offers a $100 microtransaction which is also insane.
What I'm saying is I'd rather pay a set price and own the whole game then a free to play full of microtransactions and play-time 'cooldowns'...
Or wait and find out
Did you play on the Vita or PS4? I played on the Vita and yeah, the controls took awhile to get used to, especially the motion controls with sliding, but I still enjoyed the game a lot.
Spider-Man will most likely help but films like Emoji or the next Adam Sandler film will probably hurt them again
Exactly this. I've picked up so many games between all systems(except PC cause mine needs work) and each system deserve a mention.
I picked up both FFXV and Last Guardian with Dead Rising 4 last week. So many great games to play
No love for Gravity Rush 2?
Dishonored 2 deserves to be mentioned. I'm pretty sure it's still unplayable
Apples to oranges. Cell phones are designed for communicating with other people. Games are not the forefront for their existence; while handheld systems, such as the 3DS and Vita, are designed for gaming in mind first and foremost.
In my opinion, this would be a more interesting chart if handhelds were included since handhelds are considered gaming consoles
Bummer. I would totally play it on my Vita just like World of Final Fantasy
Congrats to the 3DS still selling well after 5 years. No doubt Pokémon was the reason behind it.
Donkey Kong* with only 1 heart and no checkpoints was one of the hardest things I've done.
Championship Road or the bonus worlds in general in 3D World are also difficult cause of how much precision and timing you need. Took me numerous attempts.
*Edit
"Nintendo games could one day be on a PC on purpose. You might be able to fire up that Xbox Scorpio or PlayStation 4 Pro some day and play a legal version of the latest Zelda game."
How many times are people going to say this? If you want to play Nintendo games, buy a Nintendo system; similar to how you buy a Sony system for Sony games.
Also, people have been saying this since the SNES. The 64 and GameCube sold really poorly compared to their c...
Princess Zelda? Elena Fisher? Jade(Beyond Good and Evil)? Alyx Vance? All major female leads who are not famous for sex appeal.
I would include Samus Aran for being the first big female lead in video games;however, since the creation of Zero Suit Samus, I will not include her but regardless, Ellie isn't the only one.
PlayStation 4 – 26,267
PlayStation 4 Pro – 11,116
They did separate the sales numbers
I'm glad to hear this game is getting a port. It's a very enjoyable game that's full of funny jokes and Easter eggs. It suffered long loading screens on Wii U and hopefully that'll be fixed in these ports
They sold over 1.9 million compared to X and Y's 2.05 million within the same 4-day time frame, not including digital.
Not sure why Kotaku has to make it sound negative while other websites just straight up say how much it sold.
Won't change anything much in reality. Hype train has and always will sell games.
It's unbelievable how many sites give games a good review and then later run articles telling us why a game didn't meet the hype. You were part of that hype, Eurogamer, with your recommended* review...
Edit* came to my attention thanks to others it was a recommended score, not essential.
