"I longed to be able to play my favourite Nintendo 64 titles on the go"
As great as Super Mario 64 is, you do realize the 64 had a horrible launch line up right? You had that game and Pilotwings followed by Mortal Kombat over a month later.
Switch has Zelda, Bomberman, 1-2 Switch, I am Setsuna, Binding of Isaac, and RedOut as launch titles with other indies helping boast its lineup.
There's been way worse lineups(Master Sy...
I hope so. The system needs Party-chat at least. Chatting through a phone-only *app*is idiotic

"Some players who have traded Pokemon online may have accidentally gotten a "hacked" monster without the receiving party knowing about it."
You say may have as there is currently no proof whether innocent people got banned or not. If it is the case though and multiple innocent people were banned, then that needs to be fixed; however, as of now, you're assuming innocent people were affected.
Not to my friends or me since we play almost daily together.
Multiplayer gaming is strong on Xbox just like single-player games are strong on PS4. The Wii U has/had local multiplayer games.
Those are my opinions on the consoles' strengths since those are how I use each system personally.
Costumes for a currently PS exclusive franchise as DLC for a currently Xbox exclusive franchise. Strange old world.
How about don't cheat in the game? How is it fair for someone like me who plays legitimately to face someone online who cheated? Nintendo took the Blizzard approach and banned cheaters; which is great.
*Zelda is a single player game where no one else is affected by your cheating; similar to the likes of Skyrim or 3D Mario games. Pokémon has an online service where cheating affects other players. This ban stops cheaters from playing online with their cheated Pok...
Forcing people to spend $5 just to purchase something between 50¢-$4 is insane. I ran into this when I bought the bot add-on for Killzone Mercenary and found it to be ridiculous.
I'm happy Nintendo and Microsoft stopped with their ridiculous point/currency systems; it's time Sony allowed people to simply add the total amount instead of forcing us to spend the extra.
Unlike Twilight Princess, Breathe of Wild is releasing on both systems the same day. Those who wanted Twilight Princess on GameCube had to wait a month after it came out on Wii(at least in America).
This article states Amazon when it's only Amazon UK experiencing this; not the US or anywhere else. It's misforming to say it could be limited when preorders are still available at multiple other stores.
Nintendo first party titles and portability are two reasons I'm interested in the system. Portability plays a huge role in my gaming since I move around a lot
Definitely an area that needs improving on Nintendo's front.
The West still have preorders available, including Amazon. With the article title saying 'sold out on Amazon' when it's only Amazon UK is misinformation. Change the title to say Amazon UK since it's where the game sold out
Preorders are still available on GAME, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, Toys R Us, Newegg, and various other websites. How can it be limited if it's still available on at least 10 other websites minus Amazon?
I googled this claim of websites saying the game had HD Rumble and that's not true. It was just one website:

Even N4G marked this as a rumor because it was based off of two people on Reddit.
No gaming site hyped up the supposed feature when Aonuma himself said the Switch and Wii U versions are identical minus some graphic...
With the Japanese market not buying consoles like they used to and are now focusing on mobile/handheld gaming, I feel Japanese developers will develop for the Switch and it can do well in Japan.
Plus since the odds of Sony developing another handheld is slim, there is no Vita successor for Japan, leaving Nintendo the dedicated handheld market for themselves. The Switch can potentially see lots of success in Japan if Monster Hunter, Yokai Watch, Animal Crossing, and/or Pok&...

In a recent interview, Aonuma mentioned they scrapped gamepad ideas/features for the Wii U version in favor of having the Switch and Wii U versions being similar in gameplay.
"I wasn't wowed by the Switch's "HD rumble" haptic feedback, which wasn't quite precise enough to differentiate multiple marbles shaking around a virtual "box" in my palm."
Quote from the article you are talking about. And while he was not wowed by it; others were, such as Polygon, IGN, Eurogamer, and Engadget. It boils down to personal opinion and hands-on experience.
Personally speaking, I do not fully underst...
Square Enix will be implementing HD Rumble into Dragon Quest I-II.

My friend and I played through this demo together, passing the controller back and forth, and just having a good, enjoyable time. That's all I want in a video game: a good, enjoyable time.
Yes, a library that took time to evolve. I still play mine with my friends(Conker multiplayer is lots of fun even to this day).
What I'm saying is give it time. The 64 had a horrible launch but proved itself within its lifecycle. The Switch can too.
