"You can discover and download the full titles directly on your Xbox One. That means continuous, full-fidelity gameplay without having to worry about streaming, bandwidth or connectivity issues."
Definitely a big plus but then storage space becomes an issue.
I'd rather have it downloaded than streamed but personally: physical media>digital media in my opinion.
The same argument could be said about Twilight Princess releasing on GameCube and Wii and it sold more on Wii(I personally own the GameCube version cause It was the system's swan song to me)
Has it really been 6 years already? I've had mine since November 2011 and still play it daily. Great little system in my opinion
I've got all my systems throughout the years from the NES to now. Got a whole drawer dedicated to all the handhelds I've owned.
My wife and I will be getting the Switch but we are keeping our Wii U cause we still play coop games together.
I would never trade in my old consoles. Just too many games to go back and play.
Kirby Air Ride anyone?
Wonder if other companies will do something similar, like Shin'en with an Art of Balance type game
It would be smart to make an Animal Crossing for the system since it's pretty popular in Japan.
If they can get Monster Hunter, Pokémon, Splatoon 2, and Animal Crossing released in Japan within the next year(2017-2018), it'll sell really well in Japan
Also level of sound and the battery life of the Joy-Cons because if they are low, the system will begin to charge them
Legend of Zelda to play by myself
Bomberman to play with my friends
SnipperClips to play with my wife
1-2 Switch to play with my wife, sisters, and friends
Shovel Knight to play by myself or also with my wife.
I'm happy with day 1 games. Got Puyo Puyo Tetris ready for April and I've been addicted to anything Tetris since its original release so I know I'll be play hours on end.
It was confirmed a few hours ago it's a launch title in America too. Very happy it is.
Did Team ICO do emotional blackmail on Last Guardian reviewers?
Answer is the same for both: no.
Only purchasable with in game money after third play through; however, I still find it to defeat the purpose of earning trophies.
I hope this doesn't become a standard
So far a launch title in Japan and Europe. Hope it's also a launch title in America; otherwise, this may be my first region-free game I download on my system(my wife and I are dying to play this game together)
"At least that launched with a Virtual Console, online service and Miiverse out the box."
The Wii U did not launch with the virtual console; neither did the 3DS. It didn't hit both consoles until about a month or two after launch. Did people just forget that or something?
I wonder if having the system in airplane can increase the battery life. That should be their next test.
Thank goodness. My brother and I were disappointed there was no coop in 5.
"Ability to connect online using hotspots that require authentication, such as at a hotel or café. A web applet will open up so the user can sign-in or accept terms of use."
Definitely something I like to hear.
Donkey Kong Country Returns is probably my all time favorite game on the Wii
I got to demo this game 2 weeks ago and it was pretty fun. My friend and I got competitive with it.
I wish I was able to test out a standard controller but the motion controls were pretty fluid, especially with curving your punches. Still, I want to give a standard controller a go to compare the two
