I've been playing the original to bone up for this game. I was surprised how inaccurate the lightsaber looks compared to the sequel and the dismemberments make a HUGE difference.
I wish that Starkiller would turn off his light saber(s) after clearing an area of enemies.

It's funny, I agree with you except I'm the opposite. I prefer to have better textures over AA so I'll be getting the PS3
I do think that Red Dead Redemption looks better on 360 but I really felt that, despite the lower resolution, GTA4 looked better on PS3. The 360 had that dithering that was bugging the hell outta me.

I was considering Kinect for one game: Child of Eden. Now, I can't possibly get something that is even remotely associated with these 2 no talent fruit cakes.

I agree with both of you. I mean, I normally get UE games on 360, because it runs better, but at the same time, UE on PS 3 isn't entirely offensive and the differences aren't that drastic. Batman Arkham Asylum in some cases did things better on PS3, like lighting and shadows.
In the right hands, UE3 can look beautiful as Mass Effect 2 and Enslaved can attest to, but at the same time it can look bland as hell, as evidenced by this game. What I don't understand is, why not just use the Frostbite engine outright. Battlefield looks phenomenal and I would have liked to see that level of detail in the campaign.
I want it. Can't afford it. My collector trinkets just collect dust anyway.
I'm not a fan of Treyarch's Call of Duty games, but this is hardly a MAJOR graphical issue.

I was gonna get the 360 version only because I got the first one on 360, but after playing the demos, I might get the ps3 one. I prefer the look of the lightsaber (sorry but prequel lightsabers kick ass), the FMV was cleaner (360 was too compressed), and, I may be tripping but, the sound was superior as well. The lightsaber sounds have more oomph.
I thought it was just my tv settings but I noticed that too.
Maybe Dante needs to be gey just so he can have a badass return to form.
Kinda like how the game went from the super lame DMC2 to the super badass DMC3
