Totally excited for this game. Even more so after the "controversy" surrounding it.
My only disappointment was UE3 being used for the single player while the Frostbite is used for MP. I would have preferred the frostbite for both, hell I woulda liked the Dead Space engine, now that blows UE3 out of the water.

I agree. Sony has been pushing 3D more than anybody, I think it's highly doubtful that they didn't have 3D in mind for the PSP2.
My Best Buy (west Hollywood) had a good amount when I was there yesterday to pick up Ironman Too. I was disappointed that they had no kiosk set up to try it though.
This is prolly the laziest thing I've seen. Seriously, this looks like the PSP launch game (which was very impressive for it's time). But i was expecting a lot more
Wow this looks fantastic. I seemingly being one of 3 people who loved RE5, can't wait for the 3DS RE games. I may turn the 3d off since Digital Foundry said that more graphical effects are allowed in 2D.
There is no doubt that they will have a better version with more features. I want one badly but after the DS and all it's iterations, the smart thing to do is to wait.
I thought they released BC cuz people were bitching about how damned expensive the PS3 was. They removed it, lowered the price, and people are bitching about how there is no BC.
This HD collection is a great way to replay old games without it looking like ass on an HDTV and yes I would love old games with shinier graphics, smoother gameplay, and digital sound (something that was only relegated to select cutscenes on the PS2)

Man it bugs me that Call of Duty will still sell gangbusters. If anything, buy Activision games USED. They lose money that way.
I'm wondering the same thing. I'm assuming all the assets since MK1 didn't age well at all.
Also, I remember them talking about re-doing the graphics completely, not just upscaling the original. Maybe doing so would take up more space on blu ray. Either that, or having these HD collections is something that is more associated with Sony, so they kept it as such. All theories btw.
Maybe it's a business decision. Sell this one then release "MK HD Collection 2" a year later.
