...how is this news?? The 360 has the UK, Canada, Australia, and Sweden...so what does that leave Sony?
Get BOTH. You can be playing Bioshock for $340 + tax, with a Core + the game. If Bioshock is the only 360 game you're interested in (though I can't imagine how), that's the cheapest, easiest way to get to play it. There's no way a $500 laptop will be able to run this game...not even CLOSE.
...since PS3 owners haven't had many GAMES to play, thus far. :o
Of COURSE EA can do something about Sony making an NFL-branded game...and it would be the easiest lawsuit they ever won.
*edit* LOL...what moron disagreed with me? :D
I love the little cameltoe action she's got going on there. :D
...thinks N4G is his personal blogsite. :o
"It looks like the pirates at DAGGER have gotten their hands on the Xbox 360 version of the game and have broken, ripped and uploaded a 6.58 GB torrent at almost all major torrent download sites. And just like that, BioShock joins the league of games that have been leaked and pirated long before its official release date, with modded Xbox 360 owners openly laughing in the faces of people who have yet to wait another couple of days for the game to release."
...and N4G ...
In a few weeks, while participating in the COD4 MP Beta on XBOX Live, I'll take some pics of the game running on my 55" HD display. If some of you PS3 fans could do the same, we can both post our pics, and compare the latest build of the game. Sounds like a plan, eh? :)
Oh wait...THAT'S right...the PS3 owners don't GET a MP Beta for COD4. Well crap...there goes THAT idea. :o Oh well, I'll still post some pics, so you can see that there's no reason for ANYONE to be dogging ...
...just got PWNT. :o
Sure, because it's EA, it's easy to slam them for this. But, as the article suggests, EVERYONE DOES IT. Sony, MS, Ubisoft, Konami, EA, Capcom, Bethesda.....I don't care WHAT dev/publisher you name, they ALL PS screens. It's not like they are completely reconstructing the pic with PS or anything...just altering certain elements for marketing purposes. In this particular case, it looks like they were attempting to blacken out the crowd in the background, to make the detailed players in the ...
I merely stated the facts, based on your argument that MS was the first to have a console with such a high failure rate. SONY was ACTUALLY the first to achieve such a feat. :)
...the PS2 had about the same level of breakdowns with their disk drives in the first year.
MS was the FIRST company to do cross-platform online functionality, and has further implementation in the works across ZUNE, cell phones, PDA's, etc.
This is great for the PS3 owners, to finally see what it's like to play against PC gamers via your console of choice...but, as usual, the 360 gamers got to do it FIRST. :)
...the launch was a DISASTER. To start with, they picked a f#cking SUNDAY, of all days, for their big release day, related "event". Hell, most retailers don't even open until 12 or 1 on Sundays. Then, a ton of retailers started selling it almost a week early. (including where I live) I was on the flipside of your heartache, as I got the game on the Wednesday prior to "launch", and had beat it by that Friday :D
...
...so I might as well wait. :(
...to think there's a CHANCE Epic would drop UT3 for the 360. Gears has sold over 4 million copies, to date, and is still the most popular LIVE title, almost a year later (soon to be replaced by HALO 3, of course). Epic is just trying to "spread the love" to Sony, because they want another platform selling multi-platinum numbers for them. Wait and see...the 360 version will have some nice surprises.
No review...for ANY version, ever mentioned any bugs like this; this guy apparently got a bad copy. Regardless, just like with Madden's Raiders little 13 y.o. rant he sent to EA, this IS NOT how you get results....cursing, and acting like a total jackass.
As for the walking through the barrier....when you're running at 60fps, no weak-ass digital wall is gonna stop you! :p
Check out my post at #31. ;)
WHAT? o_o
Anyway...the game never had an "official" release date anyway, so this really isn't news. If HALO 3 got bumped to '08, I'd call that newsworthy ; I doubt the Japanese market this is made for, even realizes it's CLOSE to release. :o
