Really? Then why did our free storage drop approximately 5GB from not having it installed to having it installed? Magic fairies?
Hardware reviews are just that, of the hardware. They're not reviewing the games. They're not taking into consideration apps that will be available months from now. They're solely focused on the product itself, the physical device - is the hardware itself good? How does it measure up against existing hardware? As new functionality is released down the line, that should be reviewed too - such as a new operating system upgrade, or a new video app, or a new community interface. You d...
No, Nintendo TVii isn't available until December. Do you propose nobody reviews what people are buying until then? Or how about we wait a year before we review it? Or, how about we do the sensible thing and REVIEW THE THING PEOPLE ARE PAYING GOOD MONEY FOR?
Tough to disagree on this showing
CrowTRobot, yes. Nintendo sent us a review unit last week
All the amenities for launch ARE now available, and have been since 9pm EST last night. Anything added down the line will be reviewed independently as an addition. The console is now available for purchase, so the review reflects what people are buying.
ZombiU does not look gorgeous. It looks like you're playing it with tea bags taped over your eyes. However NSMBU and Rayman are absolutely gorgeous
Yeah, they're going to spend millions developing crap intentionally. Great observation there Columbo
Makes sense. If the PS4 has a 7-8 year life-cycle, and it's out Q4 2013 to Q2 2014, that'll see it being around til approximately 2022 before it's replaced. That's a LONG time, and 1080p will long since have been replaced by 4K. No point hamstringing your console by restricting its resolution. Even if 4K doesn't become mainstream at that stage, it's better to have compatibility for it than be found wanting like the Wii was.
You can be sure the next Xbo...
I'm amazed people still listen to what Pachter says. It's 93% nonsense, 7% stuff someone else has previously said
Shockingly bad article. Not because I disagree with it, but because it's terribly written, has no insight, offers nothing constructive and clearly lacks any kind of research or knowledge to underpin it. Still though, I bet you got a few hundred hits for your site eh? Best week ever.
The story has been updated confirming that the date is not accurate
90 million members? How does that work? As of March there were only 64m PS3s sold...
Sweet! So it's okay now to sue people if you're too dumb to understand what "with activation" means? Nice one
ahah well played sir
But the point is that it's BioWare's story, not the players' story. It was only ever going to end the way BioWare thought was best, regardless of how players or the media feel about that ending - and that's BioWare's prerogative as it's their IP
The game is just a very mixed bag. Some are going to despise it, some might love it, and the rest will see that it's an entertaining shooter that comes good in multi-player, but which is absolutely riddled with flaws
all this article did was list a load of popular ps3 games and add an extra number onto them? i dont get it
here's my exclusive first look at the ps5 launch lineup, but i cant tell you who told me because it's a secret:
fifa
call of duty
naughty dog game
assassin's creed game
Yeah seriously. A 1. Because it's completely pointless. Had this been a PSP launch title it might have gotten a 3
The first one wasn't bad, but agreed, this one is simply fantastic. We're having a hell of an end to the year for games...
