Their most successful launch yet and some people are calling it in a failure. Funny world we live in where being successful is not even enough sometimes.
Anyway, I will probably be picking one up eventually. Although I am not a graphics whore, I do appreciate how nintendo went with 128mb ram. The $250 thing and lack of games is kind of holding me back right now. But, that will inevitably change. NGP has a lot of potential too and people really underestimate that OLED display....

Marketing is indeed a major problem, but not Kevin Butler. I think the sales would probably be worse if it wasn't for him. Well said, there are many manifestations in our world far more repugnant than this simple statue. Demoralization is a subjective process. To me, nothing is demoralizing, and if this statue effects anyone negatively, they may have other problems. I find it quite nice.

At this point, I would save $100(and invest it) and buy a 12 pack or a bottle of wine and hang out with a hot chick in an undisclosed location(giggidy). Or I would go out with some friends, spend a little bit of money, and meet some chicks who can afford their own crap. Or just go to a party(often free). Hopefully people aren't going into debt to buy this thing, but it is pretty cool. If I had TONS of extra money, I might buy it.

Move is selling well. At least one gamestop I frequent WAS often out of stock. However, it could be selling much better. A LOT of people are still on the fence about it and are "waiting for more games". I was just talking to one at gamestop yesterday. SO, either there aren't enough games, or people aren't well informed. IMO, probably both. Sony's marketing is not perfect and a couple key games could make a huge difference.

I'm downloading the PS+ beta right now. Thanks for the surprise 1561.27 MB Zipperz. I have high expectations for hardcore(classic) mode. Hopefully they didn't find a way to make it super-noobish like many multiplayer experiences these days.
I didn't know it was out and I read about video games almost every day. Gotta love Sony's marketing here in the states. Now that I know about it though, it will be on my list. I think there is a PSN Tomb Raider I will have to pick up. Just got dead nation for $7.50 and Stacking for free. PS+ was a great investment.

Heh, I've never tried the product and I'm not really bashing it. I do have a lot of respect for their marketing and I have learned from it. What is Sony doing though? Maybe they have some kind of territorial agreement with MS.
It looks more to me like Gamestop is just afraid of losing more money to digital distribution and the possibility of becoming obsolete.
