It will be very difficult for any game to match the acclaim that UC2 received. When UC2 came out, it was a hell of an advancement over it's predecessor and pretty much all other games in a number of ways. Infamous 2 will really have to do something new and special, or just be incredibly outstanding in order to blow everything out of the water in 2011 like UC2 did. Thanks for the response. With the constant deluge of brainwashed trolls flooding many threads when a new PS3 exclusive releases, it can be difficult to distinguish between genuine constructive criticism and trolling sometimes.

About a 9 is what I think Killzone 3 deserves so far. Although it reminds me of a cheesy hollywood movie at times, it is definitely above average and does what it does very well. Great score!
Playing multiplayer with move is the most fun I've had with an FPS since counterstrike. Can't wait for Socom 4 hardcore mode!

No, people here in America generally have no idea what 2011 and beyond have to offer in terms of amazing PS3 exclusives. LBP2 was pretty much swept under the rug, but Killzone 3 is off to a much better start. They also seem to be turning up their marketing, which will be the only way for the masses to become "well informed".

Great review! I probably would have gave the game around a 9 too if I was being completely objective and took everything into consideration.
I try not to mention the M word anymore. From now on it's gamerankings.com. Meta has one review on there as a 67, but the game actually got a B from that site.
Nice to see another good review score for KZ3 though. This game is huge and is going to continue to rise in popularity. As long as they don't start pumping them out every yaer, I will continue to support the franchise.
I think some site are giving it mediocre scores that are well below the gamerankings.com average for hits. It's a great way to get attention. This review wont even make it to gamerankings though probably.
From my experience with the game so far, I wouldn't give it less than a 9. That is far closer to the 86.76% average that is holds on gamerankings.com, even though I feel many reviewers were nitpicking.

KZ3 is the best online multiplayer experience I've had on a console. Except maybe Bad Company 2, but you can't play that with the Move. If you don't think KZ3 is tactical, try it in warzone or operations. If you really want to pwn, some tactics will be VERY handy. Then I will have to buy another one in 6 months or people will think i'm a looza. I don't play that game. I'm sure it will be nice(they always are), but I usually invest as much money as I can rather than dishing it out for something I don't need. NGP seems like more of an investment to me.

Hahaha, I've been loving Killzone 3 so far. Best online FPS I've played on a console so far. Haven't had this much fun in MP since Counterstrike.
Edit: Bad Company 2 is great too, but you cant play that with the Move.
What games they have to offer and how effective their marketing is will determine the success of these two devices. As long as they're priced right, that is not the most important factor. To assume NGP is DOA is presumptuous and maybe ignorant. But, I didn't read the article yet, so I'll just assume he didn't go THAT far.
