I'm downloading Wipeout HD Bundle for my first game. I have been meaning to get this game for years and I love Wipeout.
I'm leaning towards inFamous, but I don't own Super Stardust HD yet either. Which do you recommend?
I was thinking of getting SSD, because maybe it would be better to get inFamous on bluray. Tough call, although economically, inFamous may be a better choice.
Judging by the demo that I played, this is one of the most fun games I've ever experienced. So, this may be a bit premature, but as far as I'm concerned it's already a game of the year contender.
I'm still interested....
That's if they actually have a copy of the game.
Have a bubble. Uncharted is awesome and I'm trying to get people back on the UC2 multiplayer. There are like 50k people on there a day already.
NGP is going to kick ass and that oLED screen will bring things to life.
I played the demo yesterday. I thought the controls were weird for a few minutes too, but once I got used to them they were actually amazing, refreshing, and different. But, not so different that they take a long time to get used to, as I was kicking a$$ in like 5 minutes. I would give the demo a 9+, maybe a 9.5 if I had to give it a score. This game is awesome.
n4g is doing a great job hyping this game.
Yes, that is very lame in my opinion. Especially during such an exciting discussion about PSN Store being back up. You have a right to be happy right now and some sad clown probably reported your comment.
I was going to download the free games, but I found the Infamous 2 demo and that will suffice until the free games are up. There main issue is probably dealing with traffic. That might be why that didn't announce anything.
My most anticipated game, among many highly anticipated games. Hopefully I can get my hands on some kind of demo or beta this summer.
I've been playing Uncharted 2 online lately. There are about 40-50 thousand people on every day. So, when UC3 launches, 100,000 will easily be surpassed.
The 3D will be good, people hating on 3D often haven't tried it. By the time UC3 launches, 3D TVs will be even cheaper and possibly very mainstream with the right marketing.
Really, it comes down to marketing and prices though.
Awesome! I didn't even know Chrono Trigger was coming to PSN. I have been meaning to play these games for ages. I will be picking up Alundra as well and many others. Not to mention the free Wipeout HD and Infamous.
...Infamous 2 right around the corner, etc. and it gets better and better.
Good stuff....
If I were Sony, I wouldn't announce it before hand. I would kind of let the information trickle into the consciousness of the masses. If they have a set date and time, it adds pressure and expectancy where it is not needed. Not only that, but the servers would be absolutely loaded with traffic because everyone would know when to log in for their free games.
Lol, consumers have some strange taste. The PS3, however, is a sexy beast though.
Yes and is anyone else tired of people confusing system memory with video memory?
Truthfully, the amount of ram should be sufficient too, but like you said, the type of ram can be more important.
I see a lot of people on here confusing graphics memory with system memory. The laptop I'm on right now has well over 1000MB of system memory, but only 128MB or so is Video Memory in the graphics card.
NGP will be a beast(just like the PS3 was a ...
Thank god graphics wh0res don't make up the majority of gamers. I'm about to pick up Counter Strike Source, because frankly, there aren't any experiences like it available on consoles right now(in that genre)
Games are already expensive enough to develop that companies are afraid to take risks and introduce innovation. Releasing systems this early will put even more pressure on devs and further destroy the artistic integrity of these companies.

Well, westernizing their games, inhibiting creativity, trying to hard to broaden their demographic did nothing but turn a lot of people that buy their games against them.
People want quality, fun games. Like someone mentioned, the HD production costs probably have something to do with it, along with financial stress and pressure. These things should never be to the detriment of artistic integrity, because in the long run, the best way to stay alive may be to do the right thin...

Hope all is well and better than ever soon Mr. K.
I will be picking up your peace walker game very soon, as I haven't played it yet. I hear it is a great game from a lot of people.
Looks amazing! Great gameplay and atmosphere. The video(capture) quality seems a bit off, but they seem to be having a lot of fun anyway. This seems to be a FPS with a single player campaign that will not disappoint. I think the the finished product will blow everyone away when it releases.
BTW, Epic
I really can't wait to get this when the PSN Store goes back up. I have always loved Wipeout, but sadly, never had much of a chance to play it. That will change as soon as the PSN Store goes back up. I will be suggesting others download it as well.
Yeah, I was taking a look at that review a few minutes ago. Their magazines generally just sit around on the store shelves collecting dust anyway...
..and didn't gamespot give Ratchet and Clank TOD a 7 as well, or am I mistaken?
Then they give games like COD 9.5's while their user review average remains at 5.7
