I'll probably be getting the WiFi version unless the 3G model has other extra features. I already have a cell phone contract anyway, so maybe I can just tether it from my cell phone.
Same here, but maybe their exclusivity deal will run out. Also, expect people to look into "unlocking" them as well.
As of right now, I'm probably going to the WiFi version. There is WiFi everywhere now anyway.
Hopefully it will have tougher difficulty settings for people who aren't total casual nubs.
I was disappointed by New SMB, but I have hope for this offering though. Looks pretty cool so far.
I've had this avatar for a couple years. As a longtime PS3 fan I thought it would be kind of funny and ironic to have an avatar like this. It's kinda saying something like, "YEAH, HAZE is HARDCORE and I'M a BIG HAZE FAN!"(truthfully, it's more the subtle mystery of it that I find funny.)

I might get it to display from PC, for guests, etc. I've been thinking of getting an extra TV for streaming data from PC, gaming, etc. and this package is very enticing. The fact that they bundled in the glasses and an awesome game makes it all the more accessible.
I thought it was awesome. Sly 4, Starhawk, new 3D package, NGP starting at $249, Dust, Resistance 3 gameplay, etc. etc.
Some of you people set your expectations too high and you're never happy. It's always MORE MORE MORE. What they showed off is great and it is one of the better shows I've seen.

Good, Starhawk alone will keep me busy for 4 years anyway. Not to mention Uncharted 3, Infamous 2, Resistance 3, and the countless other gems(The Last Guardian, etc) that will be rolling out in the next couple years.
All these amazing gaming experiences are possible on the current hardware and the graphics are FINE.

I'm not speaking of this source necessarily, but I wonder how many more years it will take before people realize that most reviewers are no more credible than your average gamer.
Wondering why people disagreed with you. It is when good games get mostly 8 and nines, but then a reviewer throws out an anomaly like a 7 that people call bs.
Then they give games like MW2 an average of about 9.4 while actual gamers give it an average of about 5.7.
It's not changing much. This is all marketing hype and dumbasses selling stories. If sony wanted to they could just release an NGP with a phone built in.

Comparing the two or putting them in the same league seems like an insult to Battlefield to me.
People play gears because it is pretty gory, that's (one of) the main reason.
UC2 online is exceptional and I started playing it often. There are around 50,000 players on there daily, but I'm trying to get even more players on there.
UC3 multi player is looking even better!
I will be getting this if the PS3 version is fantastic and it's as challenging as Demons Souls.
DS wasn't that hard, but it was actually challenging, unlike 90% of the casual nub BS that came out this gen. If people don't want hardcore games they should stop complaining and go play farmville.
