They were always trying to get me to buy used products over new products. That way they can buy a game like God of War 3(for $4) from someone who didn't know any better, then sell it for $40 dollars.
Just a correction to the one above: PS3 doesn't have 256 mb ram it has 2x256 MB RAM. Also, consoles use video ram more efficiently than PCs and PS3 doesn't rely heavily on it's outdated GPU, that's what the extra processors are for.
That being said, obviously PC games have the potential to look much better, at least technically. PS3 still has possibly the most AMAZING games coming out though.

I've been waiting for this to come to PSN for quite a while.
It will sell well if Sony's marketing is strong enough to counteract the inevitable "smear campaign". It looks extremely intense and I got chills while watching toward the end. It is almost as intense and twisted as the trailers that I saw for it a few weeks ago.
Actually, it will sell well either way.
I would like to play Starhawk on the Vita! I think it could make great use of the control methods available as well.
My most anticipated game. It's kind of disappointing that I will have to wait so long. Good thing other highly anticipated games are coming while I wait though. UC3, Infamous 2, TLG, R3, etc. etc. will keep me busy in the games department.
Is the Warhawk community still huge? I would LOVE to get into that and it's very inexpensive!

BTW: PS3 graphics are sufficient. I would like to see some real innovation over the course of the next couple years rather than obsessing over enhanced graphics. Releasing PS4 now would put too much pressure on devs to focus on graphics, rather than innovation, fun, and creativity.
Possibly my most anticipated game. Followed closely by Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, The Last Guardian, the new Sly game, etc.

[1] I like being able to equip the melee weapon. It reminds me of counterstrike, which IMO is one of the most fun games I have ever played. They could incorporate a button to switch back to the previous weapon though. Or, how about a melee button and you can switch to a melee WEAPON.

I was just wondering about that, because I had to sell my copy. I would like to pick up another copy when I have a chance, but was wondering whether or not there are still tons of people playing.
I have been playing UC2 lately and there are still about 40-50k people playing every day after all this time. I try to support these quality games and get more people playing.
I had to sell Killzone 3(and other stuff) to help finance an investment. I will have to buy it again as soon as possible. The game really is above most other games in the genre in many ways and the move support is great.
I played the Socom beta and I loved it. I was under the impression that some of reviews for it were utter bs because of this. Should I pick it up, how is the full game?
Don't take it personally bro. The game looks to be shaping up very nicely. Your concern is actually a sign that you care and you want the game to turn out nicely. But, have no worries, this studio is on top of things and sucker punch's input along with technical assistance will ensure a quality experience for us gamers.

There is a difference between system memory and graphics(video) memory. Go price quality 1.5gb video cards. Just wanted to get that out there because way too many people on N4G confuse the two.
Also, I hope the loss for Sony isn't too substantial. I will be picking up the WiFi version day one and possibly preordering it.
Also, it is very unlikely that the new Wii console will have over 1GB of VIDEO memory.
As you might have implied, the draconian game save mechanics are part of the thrill of Demons Souls. The experience wouldn't be quite as intense and brutal without them. A lot of what makes the game so great is the immersion, survival, and suspense element. It's kinda like going for a long hike and if you're not prepared, you might just encounter an angry creature, or fall off a cliff.
