That may be the effect of their "word of mouth" marketing technique.
The 3DS is doing fine among that other technology. Only, Nintendo spends money advertising and promoting their product.
Sony probably knows what they are doing with the vita. If not, they may be in trouble because what needs to be done is plain as day.
one thing....
"And in western no one cares about handhelds anymore. "
The statistics say they are as hot as ever thanks to the 3DS.
The Vita will do well if Sony manages to advertise it correctly.
At this point Beyond Two Souls, Bioshock Infinite, and The last of us are really strong contenders.
Hard for me to say what affected me more, Bioshock Infinite or The last of us.
Ni No kuni is obviously up there as well as a few others.
Graphically, it's had to discount GOW Ascension, etc. but it didn't have the same emotional impact that the aforementioned games did for me.
Technically impressive graphics are important in this age, but there are other important factors that come into play when making a timeless video game.
Upon thinking abou...
das outfitzen.
but teh graphics...
I wouldn't say it "sucks" though....
I agree. I like BC2 more than BF3 so far. Would LOVE to see a BC3 that stays true to the series and maintains it's integrity. It would give me some hope for EA's future as well.
Exactly and not that i'm overly concerned with graphics but,
"Vita and 3DS snaps do allow us to compare Sony's and Nintendo's current gen handhelds."
Is not exactly true.
I agree. I would use it mostly for demos myself. I like to have accees to my digital property even if the internet is down etc. I see a lot of hype from online journalists about cloud this and that, almost as if they are deliberately trying to market it. Some of the same people who were saying handheld gaming was in the decline when the opposite is true. Handheld gaming is more popular than ever and the 3ds smashed the ds sales record one of the best selling electronic devices of all time.
Kew beanz. My ps3/vita is impatiently waiting. Made my cell phone battery heat up to over 9000, there was a strange "unidentified floating sensation, etc. Can't wait to play this and other great games.
now you're thinking. I think sony actually released a VR headset with glassesless 3D in the last few months. I believe it may have 7.1 SS as well. This concept may be, if perfected, an ideal way to move VR gaming a step forward.

was thinking the same thing. Can picture everyone standing up in there while the owner plays the racing sim.
Would like to have something comparable within the next year. Something tells me I could do something really amazing for around 5-10 thousand.
Awesome. Not sure If I want AC yet but I can always get rid of it. Thanks for the heads up.
Not certain who are more absurd, the feminist and her minions, or the people harassing them.
Yes and of course that is all bs anyway if you look at reality. I prefer the white one and find it a shame that Sony doesn't offer that color option here in the US.
They will probably show up somewhere down the line like the PSP. Sony's marketing strategy has left me a bit puzzled for a while now though.
Well, this being n4g, a site basically run by gamers. It seems that many people on this site tend to favor PSN+ and for obvious reasons given in their statements. If you disagree, that's fine, but there is a reason why gamers (worldwide) tend to prefer certain products, games, and services over others.
Yes, they would say something like this for obvious reasons.
Interestingly, they had an article listing six reasons to buy a ps3 over an xbox. Perhaps they got a call from MS and threw some rubbish together to save face. I'm only kidding, however, that would be an explanation as to why this article seems to lack substance and reasoning.
Today it's as if n4g and forbes have merged to some extent.
UPDATE!!!!!!!!
"Silly Flamebait Articles From Forbes Today Proof of Forbes and N4G Merger?"...
@Saffron:
Ah, a hidden character? I'm liking it, very original.
