Onlive fans? Oh, that's the name of the website. j/k of course :]
More of a PS3/PSP gamer right now, but I consider PC a true gaming platform, so I'm happy about this. Might even pick it up on Steam, unless it comes to the Vita with the same content.
I pretty much agree with you, but a price drop in a few months or so to $199 feels about right.
Also, if they are to leave it at $250 for a while, they would actually have to advertise it CORRECTLY.
Unfortunately, I have to agree. I think the Vita is actually a steal at $250 considering what you get, however, It will be at least $350 with everything I want out the door. I have to buy a new gaming/work laptop/pc first, so I will just wait things out. Also, I JUST got a PSP and it has about 100 amazing games I haven't played yet.
....and the PSeye if I'm not mistaken.
also, Sony was working on wand controllers 10 years ago, yet Nintendo managed to launch one first(an incomplete one). Who's the genius there, I suppose it's debatable.
Also, the "success" of kinect has mainly HEAVY marketing to thank most likely. Something Sony may want to consider.

Yes, a lot of these articles. Someone must be spending a lot of money to push this bull$#@%. Especially since it is pretty darn illogical. If phones and "tablets"(lol my laptop has 16gb ram) can't even stop the 3DS or Vita, how are they going to stop Consoles. <smh>
I mentioned Vita because the 3G model was sold out along with half of the games, at walmart.
I mentioned the 3DS because it outsold the highest selling system of all times firs...
"Now, with tablets and smartphones invading homes, bags and pockets, all that’s about to end."
Already knew it was another one of these. Someone must really be spending a lot of money to push that underpowered crap. Site and article voted down. Mission accomplished.
omg teh new console, I want it to run COD at 2200 FPS, 1000 FPS is just not enough /s(including the syntax)
"The only reason....That inherently means they are not up to par, outdated, or have a smaller target audiences."
Please see all of the junk that publishers are backing these days.
I think the odds of a mainstream release backed by big developers being a disappointment are similarly great. At least with this, you can fund projects YOU think are interesting.
Therefore, a publisher not wanting to back a project does not mean it isn'...
"If anything, we wouldn't see so many random titles from NIS and even if they closed shop"
would you rather they pump out shooters instead?
I will be picking this game up.
I have been interested in this series for a while and haven't picked it up yet.
A price cut wouldn't hurt, but it looks like sony's problem is MAINLY their marketing. There are less powerful devices, that cost twice as much, and still sell like crack.
You're also wrong.
Here's a quote,
"After only eight months, Nintendo 3DS surpasses first-year sales of Nintendo DS, the best-selling video game system in history."
3DS was off to a slow start for a while too, people had doubts about it, and now it's one of the best selling electronic devices.
maybe one of the reasons most of them suck is that "gamers"/companies would rather focus on graphics than gameplay, etc. Just look at the comments on this thread :P
These "gamers" think a console is maxed out when it's maxed out graphically. Even when there is much more that could/should be done with the hardware, like creating fun/imaginative games.
So, they will get their new hardware, with fancier graphics. Then when the graphics we...
perhaps as productions costs go up, things become more "safe" and generic in general. Just look at the movie industry. But, obviously there are still gems being produced in both industries.
A lot of changes happened when certain big money "investors" and companies got involved in the video game industry.
however, there are still companies that make kick ass games for pc and consoles.
True, only it IS biased generally speaking and it's pretty obvious actually, even though they act as though they aren't.
Another spam article for the sheeeep.
Someone must really want gaming as we know it to go away.
....and "sentence", etc.
@zippy, no, sony still owns the most studios. Of course you are just a troll though, so yeah.
Sorry Zipper. Your talent certainly exceeds that of many others and most of you have the potential to be an asset to someone else, even somewhere with Sony.
Edit: yes yes, Socom 2 HD would make a great parting gift...
....and a vita copy wouldn't hurt either :'(
<tears>
I had to make another comment for this:
"Within the last couple of years, traditional handhelds haven’t done well"
credibility = lost
lol, "tablet gaming". Yeah, companies who make tablets have nothing to do with any of these inane, ridiculous articles right /s
btw, why are we even commenting on this trash.
Tablets can't even run 5 year old games. It will be a number of years before they reach current PC games. By then, PCs and consoles will be way more powerful and tablets will still be playing catchup.
Totally doesn't remind me of any other FPS on the market....
