Party's killed Xbox Live and now they are killing PSN.
#Forcegamechat !
Pretty much why I bought a PS4, friends had it.
I would never sell my Xbox One though, I need both consoles in my life. But I understand why people would want to wait for more exclusives, but same goes for PS4. When some big exclusives drop (Uncharted, Gears of War etc) any gamer would want to buy a second console.
I still feel BF4 has atleast a year left in it. They would need more DLC though, aside from the final planned map pack.
I have one by Orb, heard alot gave issues but mine was perfect. Been on top of my TV since Christmas.
Its funny when family (usually older) or friends come round and ask what the hell is sitting on my TV.
Better value for some, not for others. PS4 is better value for those that want purely a powerful game machine.
For those that are after multimedia centers, perhaps families, couples who enjoy casual gaming (just dance etc) the Xbox One is far better value IMO.
I use my PS for gaming, and my Xbox One for everything else. i bought my Xbox One first as my GF wanted Kinect for Just Dance, it has all the video apps for my kids, and I find it convenient to be able to use Skype vid...
Most people wouldn't be able to hear you anyway because everyone just sits in party's.
I find this with all games now. Ever since party's were bought to Xbox 360, and now theyre on PS4.
Before parties I used to meet new people all the time as we would all use game chat, and now if you use fame chat you are greeted with nothing but silence as nobody uses it.
I also don't understand why games don't have keyboard chat. The new consoles support keyboards, and it would fit perfectly in games like BF4 and Destiny. BF4 already has a chat box.
Itll be a preorder bonus, that is pointless anyway and will be available to everyone else within a couple of months.
This. People need to stop blaming MS for the Kinects failures. MS delivered new innovative technology, but the developers did next to nothing with it.
Blame them for release nothing but half assed crap, because its too much hard work to divert from the standard FPS or TPS or whatever.
I must have problems with my eyes as I cant see the difference. Haven't played it on X1 yet, only PS4.
Good article but still doesn't mean The Wolf Among Us is better because it simply isn't IMO. Its all down to personal taste on this one though, they are both very good.
That sounds like a good ammount. I always moan about ammounts of cars, its funny though as I usually end up using only 3-4 throughout the game.
Do people actually play this? Tried it once and thought it was terrible. Might give it another go?
I think people are getting blinded by the hype. The PvP is crap. It feels like one of those f2p shooters on PC or XBL. It brings nothing new to the table at all.
Sure its kinda fun, but so was Titanfall for like 3 days.
Awesome, SoD was one of my favourite games last gen.
Really? I never really looked at sales info before joining N4G this year. I just know I was the only person I knew with a PS3, literally everybody I knew had an Xbox 360 though.
All this negativety about MS, rewind like 7 years. Sony were getting exactly the same crap about the PS3. They pulled just as much crap, removing backwards compatibility for example.
I find that worrying more than impressive. If PSN & Xbox Live cant handle a Beta, how will they handle the full game?
Looking at it logically, the people who had the Beta are the minority of the people who will purchase the game. The majority of gamers are probably more casual and dont even know about betas, for example when I was playing it someone actually asked me what a beta was. If these people were enough to mess up PSN & XBL what the hells going to happen when ...
I am tough though?
Its only 16 player max there I think and 15 of those 16 would be in party chat anyway.
