...as anything that can inspire to play another round or to try a game on a harder difficulty can't be bad.
The screens look ok but looks like there is still work to be done. Only other thing I notice is the lack of on-screen action. Mainly 1-on-1? however, this comes back to why I asked what type of game it is.
...but even a 9 is too higher praise for these reasons:
1. Gameplay was a step back from the previous GTA title. I actually found the story a little boring towards the end.
2. Graphics suffered from (some) slowdown, jaggies, a draw distance that was all too obvious.
3. The multiplayer...probably the most tacked on execuse for multiplayer there has ever been. To me it felt and played like Rockstar just wanted to be able to put a tick in the box to say they do mult...
This is what can happen when someone in marketing (or a dream of being in marketing) has a great idea. Maybe MacDonalds should start using really obese people in their next line of commercials to help sell the MacFatty burger.
Marketing...is there any lower form of life on the planet.
But lets not paint gamers with the same brush as fanboys.
...but the single player campaign, although slickly presented, was a little tired and for me left no real lasting impression. If the game had been released without a multiplayer component then it would have been a rental only.
Dont get me wrong, COD4 fantastic game but it played just like every other COD game before it. I still did not feel I was facing a real intelligent enemy.
COD4 Single Player - 8.5/10
COD4 Multiplayer - 9.5/10
However, if th...

Kind of like how IMDb provides a better representation of movie reviews.
...I first got a PSP was for Gran Turismo mobile. That seems like a distant memory now. Why don't they just release Gran Turismo 2 on the PSP. At least that would be something.
...but the popularity of Apple's IPod range is incredible. The IPhone and ITouch are the real all-in-one devices that will lead the way for a mass market. Sit an IPhone/Touch next to a PSP and the IPhone has more 'wow' factor in terms of its slick, streamlined look and its smaller form factor.
Although the PSP has sold well, especially of late, Sony needs to start pushing more AAA titles for the casual gamer. Basically, if the PSP wants to keep the IPhone/Touch at bay it needs...
...fool on me.
Hype me again, not f**king likely.
GTAIV was over hyped and did not even come close to living up to my expectations. Its one saving grace is that it came on physical media which I could trade or sell for something else. I would advise those thinking of getting the DLC to wait for real gamers to provide their opinion as once you download it there are no refunds or opportunity to on-sell.
"don't they have some games to play....oh wait, nevermind."
That's right, there are no games to play on the PS3 just like 360 RROD is a myth.
...I would not download it anyway if it were on the PS3. I was extremely disappointed with how GTAIV looked. Sure it was an improvement over last gen but it still suffered from jaggies, noticeable draw distances and a framerate that did not remain a rock solid 30fps.
No doubt GTAIV looks best on a well spec'd PC but there is still one major factor that puts me off getting the DLC even if it were avaialble for PC and that is that GTAIV gameplay s**ked big hairy dogs balls.

...disappointing week for PSP owners in New Zealand. Sure we get a couple of releases but where are the PSOne games for the PSP???
I would love to play Hercules! Last PSOne game released was Crash Bandicoot 3 about 6 months ago. Ok, we did get the PSP version of Endwar but there is no way I'm paying $90 (NZD) for a downloadable game. It should be a good $20 cheaper than walking into a store and paying retail!
...if it would work with my external HDD which I use with my PS3.
...2.60 still did not improve the external HDD situation. You still can't add songs to playlists, use the new photo album capabilities, sort/group movies unless they're on the PS3 HDD.
...better external HDD support. That is, ability to group, sort, create play lists, etc of content on an external HDD.
I mean, the new photo album functionality looks great but it will probably only work with photos stored on the PS3 HDD.
...that Left4Dead would have even if its ported a year from now...Killzone 2. I get the feeling that K2 will be distracting PS3 owners from other games for a long time, especially for on-line play.
...was crap. Has Sony even stopped supporting their PSP?
...has slow sales. However, the Playstation brand seems to be doing well overall.
"who is disappointed? Im sure everyone who loved RE4 will love RE5"
And there in lies the problem. From what I have seen RE5 plays just the same as RE4. Kind of like how Devil May Cry 4 did nothing to improve on past iterations of the franchise. Mind you, they have introduce co-op play but to be honest, I don't like having the second character if I'm paying it alone. Its what ruined the latest Prince of Persia for me.
I was so hoping for a much more ope...
