what utter crap! why would 360 owners move to a system that will not be successful for many many years... why is the writer of this article deliberately ignoring the obvious machine for the 360 owner to migrate to?
Toastman is spot on here. we are the hypers. stop blaming Sony for something they are not responsible for. we called KZ1 a HALO killer and Sony took the wrap. all Sony do is advertise what they offer and on nowhere near the same level as MS (who do hype)
for Gods sake! of course Sony focused on Blu-ray to begin with. if Blu-ray had lost to HD-DVD, we wouldn't be seeing so many great games... they had to make Blu-ray successful there are so many companies riding on it's success. now that is won, they can concentrate on what will move PS2 owners over to the PS3.
this is so old! and why have you removed the question mark in this post?
it doesn't need to be as cheap as the 360. the average difference in weekly sales (worldwide) is now between 20,000 - 40,000. now that is a very very small difference. a $100 drop will see the PS3 outselling the 360 for the rest of the year
mmmmmmmm... i'm not sure they are right actually. having seen KZ2s in city graphics and the Cryteks, i can honestly say i think KZ2s look better... then you have GOW3 and Uncharted2. big words indeed. now match those games on DVD
damn, what a year Sony are going to have.
for fuq sake people. HOME will live up to expectation in the same way that PSN finally did and PS3 finally did. stop thinking things should be exactly what you want in the first few months. HOME is going to be around for 20 years or more
when Kratos brings out his big moves there is always a slight pause for dramatic effect... it's one of the reasons we love GOW and i don't want it to change thanks
sales...sales...sales. is that all there is left. enjoy your 360 my friend
@(Wii)maniac
did i just hear you complain about low res and repetitive gameplay lol
boy are some of you going to be sick when this game releases... just buy a PS3 already, you know you really want one
what's the point in that?
the real problem is that reviewers have become critics and are starting to demand content in games insead of reviewing what is there. the perfect example is if a game doesn't have co-op, they put it down in score. this should never happen. it should be reviewed on what is there and how good what is there is.
wait a minute though?! isn't it too kiddy? i seem to recall 360 owners and yourself saying that very thing about LBP.
you can thank Sony for this, Vision Camera, Scenit and Avatars
to be fair to MS, when Phil first spoke about 3.0 (that's what play/create/share is called) in his speech way back, he pointed out that it wasn't something Sony had patented, but rather something he hoped the industry would embrace no matter which platform it was on... so, don't knock a company for following Phil's advice
Morgan is a moron. he always overlooks the main hurdle for DLC... yes, not every 360 is signed on to LIVE, but also, not every 360 owner has a HDD...
this is why R* should have gone with the console that removed both of those hurdles
better footage guys:
http://www.shacknews.com/on...
people have seen the footage of the Titans and Kratos fighting on the back of them as they climb... but strangely choose to ignore this in favour of pointing out that the section chown at GDC isn't that removed from the original (just better graphics)
will you never learn? how many times do you people need to be handed your ass before you recognise it looks like the 360
what the effing hell is going on? why is it that Sony have said numerous times over the year that they have a ten year plan and have proven it with the PS1 and now the PS2, and still the industry doesn't recognise that it's Sony that began this. it's almost as if first MS want to take the credit and now Nintendo want to too... this is stupid! Sony have had a ten year plan for years and other companies are now copying
