Nintendo are moving away from their core audience and they don't intend to change that... more braintraning and balance board stuff to come and don't expect them to push the graphics. great for hardware sales, but ultimately very bad for third party support. it's not going to be long now before this Wii fashion is dumped in the wardrobe alongside grandads bell-bottoms.

come on man, to suggest no-one has ever reinvented a console in it's lifetime is outrageous. that is Sony strategy and one they have implemented from day one with both the PSP and the PS3... this is blatantly trying to steal an idea. it's not as if Sony have been subtle about it, there are hundreds of article about how they have and are going to improve the versatility of both the PSP and the PS3. this article is Sony bating without a doubt

this E3 did nothing but harm for Nintendo. the new peripheral to add extra motion control seems like an admission that the Wii never worked as described initially.
Blu-ray is doing great everywhere... where's the big deal here? when you have 14 million players out there (and that doesn't include standalones) it's obvious that Blu-ray will be the format of choice, it's a no brainer
yeah because everyone knows that Nintendo had Eye-toy and plans for downloadable movies. it's clear that the person that wrote this article has gone out of their way to avoid saying the obvious (once again) they aren't copying Nintendo, they are copying Sony... casual gaming has been around for years now with the Eye-toy, Buzz and Singstar franchises. it makes me laugh when ignorant people think Nintendo invented it, no they just jumped into the vacuum Sony left when moving over to the PS3......

i don't think he's right... i think it will help sell more PS3. not bucket loads, but i reckon the average will increase, especially in Europe (we have only had the 40GB)
Trophies are nothing like Achievement, they ARE like Skills though which appeared in all RAC games... once you realize what HOME + Trophies will offer you'll realize why MS had to steal HOME/Miis... they are playing catch up, there is no doubt.

that's a good post fella! it's absolutely true. for ages Sony got labelled the 'follower' but the truth was that MS kept jumping in with half assed versions of Sony's future plans. but now those plans have been implemented and are fully fledged, the table has turned and MS are now playing catch up with little add ons here and there... but they all look so inferior.
