I agree with you, but I think his point was that this event sent the wrong message and it shocked "him" that this was happening in light of the push to get more women into the video game industry.
"He" probably thought that the video game industry was a lot more forward thinking than people gave them credit for and when this happened it snapped him out of his comfortable make believe world where women aren't discriminated against in the video game ind...
Yeah this is extremely inappropriate. Kind of wasn't surprised when I heard the company was based in Montreal. I can only imagine what went on at the Ubisoft holiday party. They probably had the nice party for the normal employees and the sex party for the inner sanctum.
I am happy for them, it's a sweet story. I hope to find myself a good women that is into video game culture. Congratz to her and I wish her family well.
I couldn't agree with you more. Seems so silly to try and trash talk a woman because she looks good and plays games. You would think some of these guys would be happy about that. But they know the truth, that they would never have a chance with a woman like this.
I am not saying I do either, but at least I am not a bitter asshole about it.
Normally I agree with you, but this women doesn't have a bad photo. She is seriously good looking. A lot of the Suicide Girl do look off, but the only thing that makes her fit the Suicide Girls is her tattoos. Honestly, she should get that stuff removed and just model professionally minus the gimmick. She is the real deal, looks wise.
Yeah lets not support Insomiac and maybe they can be the next THQ and EA can just outright buy all their IPs. Think about your statement. Not buying this game hurts Insomiac, not EA. I will keep an open mind and hope that the game is good. Once I have more information then I will decided if I want to buy or rent it.
Can't wait to buy a GOTY edition of this game.
These guys are about to find out that you do need a brain in order to go for a money grab.
The most exciting part about this is the last point where they said they are "considering having players get directly involved with one another." I would love for a return of the 3-3 fight from Demon's Souls where you got to be another player's boss.
Also, I am glad to see that Miyasaki has the authority to set the team back on the right track. Still worried about that "accessible" statement.
A lot of this is just launch day blues. You buy a console day 1 and unfortunately you have to deal with stuff like this. This is why I am okay with waiting a bit for the bugs to get sorted out and everything to run smoothly.
The story is obvious, simple, and nothing deep is there. Maybe the writer intended the story to have a deep meaning, but clearly the writer failed to deliver.
I am worried.
Yeah this game is just a rent for me now, but I hope it is amazing and I end up buying it. I brought 2 copies of Dark Souls at $60 a piece day 1. I want Dark Souls 2 to be good, but when they start talking the "broaden the game audience" crude it worries me greatly.
Ken Levine can say whatever he want about the AI partner you are going to have, but it is up to the players to decide if Elizabeth is anywhere near the level of Alyx.
With that said, I look forward to seeing what they do, but the fact that they don't include Elizabeth on the main box art cover already diminishes her role.
I need to upgrade my ps3 hard drive, so love my psn+ membership.
I preorder Dark Souls for the 360 and ps3 the day it was announced and then I brought both copies. Why? Because Demon's Souls was just that damn good. Dark Souls 2 is a rent for me. Why? Because I am worried that in their quest to make the game more accessible that it will be ruined. I hope I am wrong, but I will rent it and see first.
It really is unreal and extremely sad how many people are wishing for this game, or any game really, to be a failure. I am hoping for a great game personally.
If this game flops bad then thats millions of dollars that Square Enix will lose and you may never see FF13 Versus because of this game's failure. Never think that a company simply cannot go out of business. I hope this game is an amazing return to form for the FF series, because I am a Final Fantasy fan.
Yeah they are doing it to just get clicks on their shit site.
The remix of the ff13 music sounded really good. I think these guys really have their pride and egos invested in this franchise, so I look forward to seeing what they do to redeem the series image. I liked ff13 and ff13-2, but I recognize those games are a far cry from the other FF titles.
With that said, I am looking forward to seeing what this game will be like, these guys have made amazing games in the past so the talent is their. The only question is if they can get over...
