There still is no final beta dev kits, so I doubt it is running on a PS3, if it is on a pre-beta dev kit, those have 2 gigs of ram which the Ps3 won't have, plus since blue-ray reads so slow I bet most PS3 games will load alot of data onto the hard drives like they did with the Gran Turismo HD presentation at E3, you could hear the guy say the game was loaded onto the hard drive probably because BooB Ray isn't ready yet.

Why would they purchase a PS3 if they just purchased a PS2, wouldn't it make since to wait and buy the PS3 since it is backwards compatible.
Actually this is very good news for microsoft, both consoles are at different points in their lifespan, one is $129 and one $299(core). When a next-gen console beats out a last-gen console that is way cheaper, like microsoft did in may this shows that the 360 is selling well and will continue to do so. It is more bleak for Sony, since their next gen dvd player will be released in november to replace the PS2.

It told me to put it in the XBox console, it ended up being the laser sensitivity for the drive, it was set to low. My advice is send it in, get a new drive, it will only take a few days, the 360's support it exceptional.
Why would it autopmatically make it boot to the dashboard and not the game? What if you want it to boot to the game instead of the dashboard? I think they will have major problems manufacturing the cell processor in high enough yields for mass production. There are no final PS3 dev kits in the real world, maybe in gaystation land but not on planet earth. The PS3 GPU is basically an NVidia 7900 as posted earlier, there is no graphics card on earth like the 360's, if the PS3 games utilize anti-aliasing the performance will take a hit, not the case on the 360. And atleast they don't lie about the 360's capabilities.
They better sell HD-DVD players and discs with the blue-ray emblem on it, if they want people to eventually purchase one before 2020.
PS3 fanboys are gaystation butt-boys. While we are playing next gen, they are playing with their best friends balls. I think half of this article will be true. I don't believe the cell will be down-graded, but I do believe the GPU is a piece of gaystation dung. PC GPU's have already surpassed the one in the PS3, can't say the same for the 360. With the 10mb of edram you get plenty of eye candy with free anti-aliasing at 4X.

Who cares? I personally don't, I have a next-gen system for next-gen games, with improved graphic and audio quality. The only people that should be playing last-gen games are the Sony fan-boys, becuase it looks like we will have Ultimate Definition TV's before the PS3 comes out.
360 is outselling the PS2, and if people are still buying the PS2, it is because the PS3 is never coming out.
