They aren't, though. They have "RPG elements," but that doesn't make them RPGs. Any game can be an RPG if you really want to be ridiculous, but that that point it stops being a genre.

Weren't there only fifteen people working on the game? Even after M$ and Steam take their cuts, that's still about half a million dollars per person. I'd call that pretty successful if I were them.
