You're stupid. Why would anyone want to keep multiple consoles lying around if they could get one that plays all of their games? I don't want to have ten consoles hooked up to my TV in order to play whatever game I want to at any given time. It's pretty simple, and really shouldn't be that difficult of a concept for your kind to grasp.

I disagree. I buy new consoles to not have to keep my older consoles around. I don't want to have to hook whatever PS is required to play a game I want to play, especially if it's a digital copy of a game that could easily run on PS4 hardware. It's why I'll game on PC until Sony gets their sh*t together.
Raspberry Pi 3 can play PS1 games. It can actually play up to N64. You have to overclock it a bit and put in a small 40x40x10mm fan [I got mine from AliExpress for a couple dollars] to dissipate heat, but then it runs like a dream.
I'm fine with digital if it's at least 50% off to make up for the fact that it has zero resell value. If Take Two wants to sell Red Dead Redemption to me for $30 with no DLC, MCs or loot boxes in the game at all I'll gladly buy it digitally.
I have a 6GB 1060 and I can actually run almost all of my Steam games at 1440P high settings. The XBX doesn't run most games at native 4K, but uses checkerboard rendering like the PS4 Pro and scales resolution from ~1400P, so I'd say it's actually pretty accurate.
@XMessiah23x They actually did. The PS4 Slim doesn't have an optical audio port. I don't use optical audio, though, so I don't really care. Also, the base PS4 didn't really have anything special that could be taken away, so I wouldn't commend them in any way. It didn't have backwards compatibility, it didn't have a bunch of USB ports, and it didn't have any type of card reader.

For PS3, maybe. For PS1&2? There is no hardware or architecture issue.
Why wouldn't it be able to read CD-Roms? Sounds like another lie from Sony to not make the PS4 backwards compatible with PS1&2 games.

Yep. It's the #1 reason why I still haven't bought a PS4, and never will until they implement such a simple feature.
Can't read CDs? Wat? All Bluray players can read DVDs and CDs.
Wow, what an awful ad for PS Now.
Hey Sony: Put PS1&2 backwards compatibility into the PS4. It would take you five minutes. C*nts.

It'd be super nice if they doubled the battery size and switched it to USB-C.
@GameBro He means there aren't any worthwhile games exclusively on XBox, which is 100% true.

@2pacalypsenow Um, what? That's what optimisation is. It's finding the most optimal (hence optimisation) settings that the hardware can handle.
PS3 was better. Why Sony STILL hasn't let the PS4 play PS1&2 games is beyond all comprehension.
3.5/5? Wow. He's special.
I sure hope retention is high. The game's only been out for two weeks.
GeForce Experience does a pretty amazing job of optimising games on my PC.

They're mid-cycle upgrades. They are BOTH half-measures.
I really can't understand how XBox users can be so complacent for so long. It defies all logic and understanding.
