People were actually suggesting that Nintendo just copy/paste their normal franchises on mobile instead of their own dedicated hardware. Nintendo is showing that this clearly isn't what you guys were initially alluding to! Mobile gets Pokémon GO and 3ds gets Sunday & Moon
There were people on NeoGaf actually trying to suggest that Nintendo had no part in this game being made or its success. Do people nother remember Kimishima almost a year ago talking about how they have plans in place to return Nintendo to Wii like profits? Many thought this was just b.s. and he's just telling investors what they want to hear...
Makes no sense when they can just do it all! If that's the case Apple shouldn't have made their own phones and put their ideas on someone else's product... There's no reasoning to why people think this would translate into the same level of success. The people buying into Pokémon GO are the same types that were enamored by the Wii, thinking that Zelda on Playstation would somehow single handedly sell better and make more money than on their own platform is unfounded. Nin...
There are billions of smart devices in the world, your theory wouldn't amount to the same level of success on a few million consoles. We're talking about a free to play game here that has a unique AR and social functionality to it. It's not like every traditional Nintendo game wold or could convert over this way into the mobile space...
Isn't that what Sony normally does though, is give specifications of the hardware? Sounds like maybe a little back peddling right now... Heck the PS4 was officially announced on tech demons running on PC hardware, we haven't seen or heard from Deep Down.
Where are the reviews? A game coming in 30 days that doesn't focus on story driven elements should have been reviewed already! I think that's probably what's going to hurt this game, it doesn't seem like people in the press are that excited about this game coming out next month
Along side Zelda, Dishonored 2 was one of the only interesting titles that they showed game play footage of! Everything else is just another adaptation of some other popular franchise. 3rd party clone games they should call them...
So true, people were exclaiming last year's Sony e3 conference as the one to beat forever in history and future to come for any company. Simply because they announced a bunch of games that no one even knows when they are coming out!
Umm, wasn't Spider-Man always Sony's for sometime now?
This is a fun article, because once the NX is unveiled and goestrogen on sale in wonder u own many people will be changing their tunes! If Sony is the first to come out with a MiiToo Playstation version of NX what will you guys say, oh Sony had that patented for ages?
I know it's definitely the younger generation that has this sentiment! People don't want to give Nintendo credit when it's due, but they are the only company I know of out of the 3 that can show up to e3 with essentially 1 game and have it be the most talked about at the show. But that's how irrelevant they are, I forgot... lol
Well they all imitated the Wii and that was very underpowered! I don't think Nintendo are completely afraid that the other companies will just copy it, as history have shown us it's only a matter of when not if. They are probably more concerned with them being able to fully market and take advantage of this idea before it gets copied.
Let's face it Sony and Microsoft don't really come up with unique hardware features or software to take advantage of that ha...
As soon as the WiiU was announced though both Sony and Microsoft had their MiiToo options ready in case if it took off!
Well considering the reviews for the RX480 neither the Neo or Scorpio are going to be doing much gaming at 4k resolution. So they are once again going to be considered as half steps just a couple years down the road... Not saying the new gpu is bad, but it's a great 1080p card and on par with the Gtx 970 maybe a little better in most cases.
Why are people disagreeing with you, it's not like when Nintendo releases a new handheld version they both continue to sell well. It's inevitable that both products that provide the same service, one will end up dropping off and it's usually the older model that does...
So funny that people are so salty about this game! Nintendo has changed up so much for the better with this Zelda that many will dismiss it at as just being more of the same. Even though they are willing to take risks with their popular franchises that most won't....
There's no strong hook to keep people coming back
The same EGM article said that Ready At Dawn didn't know anything about what the NX was but the publisher of Ready At Dawn's next game has been in talks with Nintendo back and forth. So it actually sounds like Nintendo is talking to the right people and these questions are just being asked in the wrong direction... Stop asking developers this far out if they plan on supporting the NX and ask the publishers, they make all of the decisions in what goes where!
Sadly more will probably go out of business trying to support as many as possible...
He will come nowhere near this article because it's positive news! But he's such a big fan of Nintendo... lol_wut :(
