We all know the 360 had achievements firsts, I don't get why you felt the need to bring that up. I'm glad Sony came in late with it, cuz they improved it.
I thank the Xbox 360 for paving the way for "better achievements" called Trophies. TROLLED!!!
Edit: I should have thought that comment over before posting it. I don't need to lose bubbles over it...
Um...ok?
Oh, so I suppose you're one of those sickos that doesn't believe it's a baby Yoshi until it emerges from the egg huh?
Yea, these higher capacity Bluray disks require a different type of Bluray player to read them, so even though it wouldn't be a "new" format, it would be pretty close.
The next PS3 huh?
Did the first sentence in the article clue you into this, or was it your superb investigative skills that drew you to this conclusion Caspel?
Well, now that you mention it, the PS3 did manage to resurrect itself during the PS3 Apocalypse.
Read the first sentence.
was "So you just got your shiny new PlayStation 3." I think that's a good clue that this was written for YOU. OH NO! *Universe implodes*
Israel anyone?
If you know the original story, they "kind of" are the bad guys since they oppressed the Helghast in the first place. I found the teaser trailer interesting when the ISA soldier puts the helmet on after beating that dude down. Not sure what that meant.
No no no, we wouldn't want them to change anything up. If they did, then a bunch of whiners would complain until it was more like the "other FPS" games they play. Don't be ridiculous postedup.
What companies have re-thought security because of this guy? The Wii and 360 were hacked long before this, so the only company rethinking security is Sony since they were airtight until this point.
Hitler is a "significant" part of our history. Significant doesn't = good.
The bastard probably got a job from this. It's not uncommon for hackers to end up with high paying jobs because companies will go "Hey, how about you clean up your act and do thing legit, and we'll pay you a ton of money?"
As soon as you said "fanboys will claim Heavy Rain is a masterpiece" you only outed yourself as a fanboy. Otherwise you would have just been stating your opinion, which you are entitled to. I liked, not loved, Heavy Rain. I could be called a Sony fanboy, but I can admit when I was a little let down by a game. I did like it, but feel that the hype left me a little underwhelmed. The story isn't great, but good enough. I never felt that "emotional connection" though...
As far as graphics go, I really wasn't impressed. Statically things did look great, but once you had things moving around and interacting it was kind of an eye sore. For example, when Ethan's tucking Shaun into bed the kid looks like he's laying down on a stiff board. I mean, for what little was going on in each scene I for some reason expected more physics or something when characters interacted with things. How about when people interacted physically with each other? I mean...
Tons of movies have them if you go back and think about them. I mean The Sixth Sense is a highly acclaimed movie, but I can go back and list tons of plot holes or illogical things that occurred if he were "dead the whole time". <-- Sorry to anyone if this was somehow a spoiler after all of these years.
In all seriousness I do think Trophies add much more depth to the system, but that's my opinion. Had a blast getting my God of War III platinum, and I'm very proud of it. PSN ID = cjflora if anyone else wants to compare. =) I'm not super hardcore, so I'm not trying to impress. I've only got 2 platinum. Really close to getting some others, but I keep getting distracted by other games.
