I'm convinced that most users here have 10 accounts just to give downvotes haha
The article seemed fine in the title and it's fine to read. Not clickbait at all, not in the sense that we know it can exist.
You have a 1:2 ratio for simply saying "you don't have to assume anything if you read the article" lol
Pure N4G right there lol
!Spoilers ahead!
Disagree with three of those. I never built my own bridge, watchtower or postbox (that I wasn't forced to).
Yet, I finished with a rating over 450 and often helped others/returned packages. I just did it at the official terminals. Bridges? I'll find a way around if another user didn't build one.
My main building was a zipline. I literally built my own highway of ziplines that focused on the hardest places I tra...
That's a very good point and question. I'd call the last gen a draw, with 360 winning the first half and PS3 winning the second. I won't count Wii due to being a gen behind in hardware but in pure sales I think they'd have beat both.
I'm a Playstation owner, btw. I game on PC and Playstayion. Always have and will until they do me wrong.
That's what makes the reaction to my very basic l, honest comment so funny. The weirdos on this site are...
lolok
If Sony shows their ass this next gen I'm sure nobody will move to another platform. Sure thing. That's never happened before, even in the example I fn gave lmao
This site is full of clowns
This gen? Yes. Absolutely.
But Microsoft isn't going anywhere and Nintendo would be much closer had it released the Switch sooner (or made it more powerful for easy 3rd party ports).
But yes, PS4 "won" this generation by a rather large margin. Best games, most sales, etc.
All that simply means very little moving forward. Almost nothing outside of reestablishing the Playstation Brand as the desired game console (after losi...
Absolutely. Storytelling does not require violence of any kind and gaming is seemingly just now realizing this in the last decade (maybe less). Most games still include a tacked-on battle/fight system onto games that are clearly created to tell a story and it's not necessary.
You CAN and it can still be great but it's not a necessary addition.
N4G is dumb af, tbh. I'm positive that about half the user base is here to downvote every comment. Sincerely. It makes no sense.
I've seen comments like
"I liked it a lot. Not perfect but very good"
get a ratio of 20:1 downvotes to upvotes on this site lol
I give exactly zero fs about up/downvotes on any site but this site is especially meaningless. It's almost like only the truest stuff gets a ratio like OP got. I ...
Really?
So he chose the name "DOOMS" as a condition on a whim and not because it's a line in a song he liked so much that he added it to the game/trailers?
No. Don't be silly. That's where he got it. That's one example of many in DS.
You're trolling or truly didn't remain patient enough to truly see the game.
Literally 50 hrs in and you're still being shown major elements of the game. It's not for people looking for a 10-20hr romp.
Your bad if you just didn't play it enough or as designed.
Really enjoying it and a Kojima fan but I'd go with an 8.5/10 overall.
Sometimes it's damn near perfect in every way and then sometimes it's a 6/10 experience, the story being the least accessible part of it. It just flat-out makes no sense in some places. It's clear he winged the story based on music he likes. He took some lyrics and made an actual story from the video that plays in our heads when we listen to good music. Too much forcing of elements and od...
I'm well over 100hrs into Death Stranding and I'm fairly certain that I'm about halfway done lol
Hmm. Seems a bit like overkill to have the screen on it but it does allow it to work without needing the console to program it.
So, does it just map a button or combo to the back. Allows you to, say, add X or the combo of X+O to one button?
I can see certain gamers finding this very useful, fighting game players for instance. Maybe shooters, too.
Yup. I love weird little games like this that are just endlessly optimistic...and I don't exactly have a positive outlook on life haha
I remember coworkers busting my balls because I loved Little Big Planet and Noby Noby Boy on PS3. Played them with my niece and we just had a blast. Endless smiles and laughs.
Katamari is another.
How is it ugly? It's just a bump at the bottom lmao
From the back? Where you never look while playing?
Ok? Haha
This is exactly true.
The next hurdle that games need to clear is in the side of AI and NPC simulation. Visuals have reached a point where improvements are still to be made but the 3D hurdle has been safely cleared for a while now. We're at a point where it's just hardware specs that determine how real something will look.
How real they ACT and interact with the player, environment and each other are an issue that haven't changed all that much...
lolok
Same. I find myself not interacting with or using BB at all for long periods at a time.
I get someone not liking the game. Shoot, I don't like Smash Bros, Mass Effect and many other beloved games. That's fine.
I just wouldn't call any of them 4/10 games. A 4/10 is basically dogs#it and the technical achievement in DS alone is worth 4. To then say it has NO worth after that? BS. A lie or someone that absolutely didn't want to learn how to p...
You'd be surprised
Yes!
Yes, they were just clutter if they didn't fit my highway of them. They don't add bandwidth.
However, a good tip that I didn't learn until it was WAY too late is that you can delete structures from the map menu/cufflink using the triangle button.
Do you know how much traveling I did to delete structures (my own and others) that I could have done in seconds from the menu?
Lmao
