Not really, it just signifies a game that's not awful but not good. It's a game that the average player has fun with for a bit or in spurts before being forgotten.

It's a game that a fan of the genre will probably enjoy quite a bit but have some gripes with.

It's not bad but so close to good that it's disappointing. It's like getting a single lick of the ice cream cone before it falls to the floor instead of it immediately falling ...

I don't game on Xbox but I'm also not a fanboy for anyone. I own Sony so I want the Playstation to do well but I'd buy an Xbox if they stopped being so generic and had decent games.

What I don't get is why MS doesn't just go all-in? You're MS. You have so much money lol. Why not take losses for a generation or two in order to literally sink your competition financially? Make your next Xbox a device that costs $800 to make that you sell for $400. Make...

They'd have to ok the use of the engine because they own the IP and game engine used to make the game.

That's the key difference. This isn't a timed exclusive deal unless Kojima made that a stipulation when negotiating, which is highly unlikely but technically possible.

No but an exclusive AAA title is for a company when it's a 72. You can't always hit it out of the park and Sony has been on a roll lately but a 72 is bad for Sony. It'll struggle to recoup the cost of development.

Then again, GOW, U4 and many others more than surpassed it so it's a minor setback.

Ouch. Yeah, said earlier that I'd love to have been wrong when I said this game was doomed a year ago but it seems it was.

That 8.7/10 had me excited but it runs against every other review I've seen. A shame.

If this is the consensus it'll still be better than I thought it would be. To me the development had textbook signs of being totally broken just a year ago. One year ago this looked like a game being quietly killed or at least ignored. Many games don't survive or come out as a good product when in the situations this game was in.

I'll definitely try it sooner than later now.

Mfr has has been charging for a beta for 5 years and he wants to give advice lol

Exactly this. I love Uncharted but it needs a break for a while, maybe even an entire console generation. U4 was great. Give it a brrak and bring it back when something truly new and unique can be done.

Yes. It probably holds up better than any PS1 game.

It looks better than I expected it to. $7mm for a major game is such a small budget but it looks fine by all reasonable standards.

The fighting really looks solid. I thought it would be some janky mess but it looks decent. Hope for the fans it works out well. I'm yet to even play 1&2 so I'm just rooting for thw fans as I have a few titles I'd love to see but probably never will.

This game sucking was the most predictable thing at the last E3. You just knew it would blow.

This will be a 7/10 type of game. Watch. Some will like it, some will hate it and the vast majority will forget it exists in 2 months.

I really liked LBP and championed it to those I knew wouldn't give it a shot otherwise. Yet, even I fell out of love with it after LBP2. I felt like it was really good at a couple things and anything outside of those were janky. I appreciated it but what made me love it is what also made me grow tired of it.

So, I wasn't going to buy Dreams. Why? As impressive as it was it looked like anything made would have a similar look/style and be rather limited despite the ap...

People joke about Death Stranding but this game was literally showcased at E3 2013, IIRC.

Assumed the same but webkot exploit still works in 6.20

Also, it doesn't allow piracy itself but is just a first entry to someone trying to find a true kernel exploit within webkit.

It's a patch for the webkit exploit.

Edit: I'm was wrong, webkit exploit still works in 6.20

No, it isn't. You can put it in a PS4 Phat or Slim and it'll play but if you put the disc into a PS4 Pro it'll spit gallons of hot diarrhea out at you.

It's a bug they couldn't fix before launch. Worse yet, if you place the disc inside of an X1X it'll cause another 9-11. Upon placing the disc into the console it'll cause 4 747 jets to automatically take off and crash into random buildings. Again, a bug that couldn't be fixed before launch. ...

Played it and I'd give it a solid 7.5/10, much like the 7/10 I gave JC3. It's better but not much. Most of that extra .5 is because it runa better in console and has a few new ideas. Still, it's a physics sandbox with a thin disguise of taking back an island blah blah blah.
The series peaked at JC2 and has been little more than a physics sandbox since.

It goes next to Hitman and Tropico as the most criminally underdeveloped franchises in gaming. All gr...
