Hilary gave roughly the same score to fable II, and had complaints, but Fable II is one of my favorite games so yeah.
One of the finest RPGs, 88. Good score, but you think by calling one of the best RPGS ever, it get at least a 90. But that just goes to prove scores aren't everything.
This review is so well written, Adam Sessler truly earns the right to be called a game journalist.
The consensus is that L.A Noire's sense of place and story are revolutionary. Honestly, a good story goes a long way. Also on the topic of scores, Arkham Asylum and AC2 had score aggregates, but beat Uncharted 2 on certain sites.

This is great. Very few games this gen have crossed this boundary, the only other game I can think of immediately being Shadowrun. MS needs to step up and implement steam works (No it is not steam in its entirety, which apparently, is contrary to popular belief).
Yeah and edge also gave ME1 a 7, but crackdown 2 an 8. Their scores mean nothing to me.
