Honestly, I think some people are overlooking some of the games glaring flaws. No game with a camera this bad deserves a 9.5 from what I played. At times, it feels the camera pretty much came out of DMC1.
"It may be wet" that implies that it isn't always wet nor is it guaranteed to be wet.
Water may be wet.
It's remake of a 10 year old shooter releasing in a season where the clash of shooting titans is taking place.

This person is clearly one of the people overlooking U3 if he actually thinks that U3 is being overlooked. Also how the hell is Revelations being over looked? It's one of the most popular franchises this gen. The rest of that list is pretty accurate though.
did you forget Portal 2 or Arkham City?
I think we're getting a little carried away. AC got a 10 first review and it didn't get this much fanfare. It was labeled a serious contender which was an appropriate title. This is the first review and people are already outright calling it GOTY. Slow down, U3 was always gonna be a contender for GOTY, but let's for at least a few more reviews before calling it hands down the GOTY.
Jak 2 was much better than 3.
After like 7 reviews. The 360 version has double the reviews. So why don't we wait till more reviews roll in.
KZ3 isn't a 10. KZ2 was a better game.
This is a man who gave AC2 a 4, The Wicther 2 a 6 and Deadly Premonition a 10. I swear all he does is review things like some post-modernist hipster. His review means nothing to me.
Never watch gs video reviews, they're always rife with spoilers.
Game Arena is actually a very respectable. They don't dish out high scores left and right, much less a 10.

DS is for a very particular audience, and ES has far broader appeal. At the end of the day I think Skyrim will best it because it's a far more ambitious game.
Why do I get the feeling dice is trying to soften the blow for console gamers? I mean they have proclaimed their graphical prowess on consoles, but I get the feeling they're subtley stepping on their promises with reasonable excuses for what will inevitably be a "KZ2 E3" tech demo fiasco (KZ2 is still one of the best FPS this gen).

I think optional texture packs are going to get really popular with devs as a means to draw better graphics from consoles for the rest of the generation. It's like a very primitive method of scaling on the consoles.

Even the first Uncharted? I really liked that game but 2007 had COD4, Bioshock, Super Mario Galaxy and Halo 3. I don't think UC1 had a chance. That said I still strongly believe it's gonna come down to Nathan and Bruce for GOTY 2011 If two games had to be pitted against one another.
