IMO, The radiant AI in Skyrim is pretty next-gen. The fact that it augments facets of a quest in your game based on how you play, where you've been, and your past decisions, is some thing Peter Molnyeux tried to do with Fable and even more impressive than Mass Effect's ME1-ME2 decision carry over.

Skyrim and Skyward Sword are both yet to release, I don't know how you can make deliberations without taking them into account.

Skyrim has seriously impressive numbers. In today's modern gaming climate, a fantasy rpg sounds like the last thing that would be inching to 1 million pre-orders on one system.

Yeah, CE for me as well. I had a 64 but never fully got into golden eye. I remember my friend got an xbox when it came out and we(all my close friends) were all at his playing it. Can't believe it's been a decade.
