"There won't be Scorpio exclusives as Microsoft hasn't stated many times over."
MS has actually walked back those statements hinting that it may be let up for developers to decide.

Stupid reason to fire someone... But, honestly, I wasn't going to buy the game anyways... You have to be careful about political beliefs these days it's a shame.
I have played through and beat Quantum Break... IT SUCKS! TV show sequences are way too long interrupting gameplay for like 25-40 mins per break or at least that's what it seemed like. Honestly I started to skip the TV Show sequences and just watch the quick update after the next chapter. Some pretty cool ideas for gameplay... But the delivery of the mixing TV Show/Videogame absolutely kills this game in my opinion.
I like the idea but actions speak louder than words so I suppose time will tell. Hope Phil is right though.
To this extent I totally 100% agree. If I download and "own" a game digitally I should be able to play said games just like they are physical media... i.e. whenever I want to regardless of Xbox Live status.
2 things Xbox really needs to be great again... AAA Microsoft developed (Not Rented) Xbox/Win10 exclusive single player game (example: Uncharted/Tomb Raider) and more Japanese support. That would help get MS back in the right direction in my opinion... Multiplayer experiences I think MS is on point but way too many of their games only focus multiplayer...
Wait... I thought it had to be 1080p/60fps or it was garbage...
Checkerboarding isn't native 4K.
MS, be careful how you brand it... There will be big time consumer backlash if it falls short of being the "First and only true 4K console"... That leaves little room for error if 1080p games start popping up on the system.
I believe they are talking about the rise of the free monthly games. Sony started the free games as a PR move after the massive hack which lead to millions of users credit card information stolen and continued the free games monthly as long as you were subscribed to PS Plus... MS held off for sometime before adopting the free monthly games.

I only briefly downloaded and tried the trial of EA Access... Didn't realize it's $5 per month. Thanks for the correction.
But, yeah... for just $5 more you can get access to 100's of diverse games from many different developers... I guess my biggest question regarding this service is how often are games going to disappear from this service on a month to month basis...
@darthv72
"And if EA feels threatened by that service they may just move EA access to the PS4. "
You realize that Sony already shot-down EA access which is the only reason it is an Xbox exclusive service. Sony would still have zero reasons to bring a competing service into their echo system.
That being said... This is a huge kick to the nuts of EA because for the same price per month ($10) you can get access a ton of more games from...
@ImGumbyDammit
Just think of all the toy and lego licensing and a Movie is getting released... MS easily made all their money back and counting.
@VideoGameLab
I guess someone doesn't believe you? Not sure how you get thumbs down on that comment.
I disagree to an extent because they do listen to an audience to a tune of how much a game makes. Do publishers care what a single person thinks, or a collective small group of people? No, probably not. Does a publisher care what hundreds of thousands if not millions care about? Absoultly, because if they disregard that voice of the consumer they will not be in business long.
Publishers do to an extent care what people think especially gamers they are targeting. However...
Well, it's a UWP game... So I'm sure the decision really wasn't hard to make it X1 playable...
Right... performance would vary depending on the game that was played... 3 hrs... is terrible for a portable console... 3DS only gets 3-6 hrs? What are you smoking? 3DS is 6-10 hrs... a big difference.
ohhh and coming straight from Nintendo I was wrong...
According to Nintendo, the Switch's portable battery life will range from two-and-a-half hours (2.5 hours) up to six hours (6 hours), depending on the graphics requirements of the game being played...
Like the system, but not the controller... From what I've read the battery life is also horrendous for the portable aspect of the switch gaming like (3-4 hours)... Which would be a pretty big negative for a system being hyped as a portable/gaming console hybrid.
Well... Which makes since, because Beam is owned by Microsoft...
Haven't heard too much about VR after PSVR was launched... MS already stated Xbox Scorpio would support VR headsets... But, I don't think VR will really push very many sales in the console business... Not right now anyway...
