I do hope they implement a patch allowing us to turn the HUD on and off at will. For those who have put in a certain amount of hours, the HUD will not be as important but more the immersion.

HDtv makers didn't even have HDMI cables included in the packaging and these were the actual tv sets so I never understand why people wanted Sony to include HDMI cables when they never demanded that from tv manufactures and many people didnt' have HDtvs back then.
