No it really isn't. I've been on this for 4yrs now and it's a rather simple solution. However, gaming sites are so dependant on using the numerical systems to rate games cause it's way easier to manipulate their consumer bases i.e the gaming community.
It's not at all that hard to change if we and game developers really want to.

They won't ever do that this gen. WHy? because numerical style of rating helps them get more incentives and a better margin to manipulate the community.

Any PS3 gamer that depends on gaming sites to tell them accurate info about PS3 exclusives is a fool. Any PS3 gamer that actually listens to 360fans saying anything bad about PS3 exclusives is double fool.
These guys laugh at Heavy Rain and KZ2 will they salivate over fighting Combine Harvesters as uber gameplay. You'd be an utter fool to listen to any 360fan.

2) @08.30; that's the thing that really drives me batty about the hype around MS marketing. That feature being talked about was from SOCOM 1 over 7yrs ago but they put it in a current gen game as a 360 exclusive and it's treated like a revolution in gaming when in fact it's been around for almost a decade.

Want to know for sure if it will NEVER come to the PS3? well, when you hear Valve put out a statement like
"Portal & HL are NOT going to be on the PS3. If you want to experience these games then you'll have to get a 360 or PC cause they are solely 360 & PC exclusive and not in anyway timed exclusives"

It's a Navy Seals game. Navy Seals don't roll with more than 16 soldiers thus why SOCOM games hwill most likely always be capped at 16v16

Once you go MAG you just can't go back. Doing 8v8 just feels like I'm a rat in a box repeating the same thing over and over again. The very least I can manage is 16v16 now and that's even pushing it. 20v20, 30v30, 128v128 - go big or just go home.
