this is crazy! ... and no mention of CIV:rev demo? If that's the case then I've been wasting my time anticipating this update cause that was the main feature I was looking forward to.
I started gaming on old BBC computers and Atari but I could kinda say I really started serious gaming on Nintendo but I don't play Nintendo any more... and I certainly don't play Atari any more.
So no, I don't think it's because of loyalty to a brand for the sake of brand name - that would be stupid - but more loyalty to a tried and trusted brand that has delievered from it's inception.
One would have to be stupid to leave anything that's been great for them just...
I can almost hear myself echo in here :/
Could it be some sort of Mercenary type MMO? Where clans could play a big role too or you could solo it all in a huge real world sim type universe? Men oh men, this really sounds sweet.
SOCOM MMO ftmfw!
I think this will be a blast playing with my Kids, their friends and the family in general . A cool interactive EDUtainment type game kinda like Nintendo's Blue Ocean thingy.
-.- This is guy is simply an A'hole.
CIV:rev DEMO! Woooooooooooooooooot!!!!
.. and partnering up with EA is like a family get together so I'm sure it wasn't a tough sell to get EA to give this game some sort of timed exclusivity on the 360.
It's sad and disgusting how MS has totally turned this industry into the dirty crap we see in the media and community. Before they came along the industry was never like this - with out of control decet, slander and misinformation galore.
Every field MS ventures into they soil with their nasty busines...
Love how they tried to make it seem like it's a well known anitcipated game lol
Now doesn't this make the Wii's Mii's look utterly ridiculous? X)
I think people are now understanding a little better of what HOME is and is about. It's not a frikgen sims/second life game, it's not a game at all - it's a service the likes the world has not seen to this capcity ever before and it, by the grace of God, will be glorious and the envy of all other consoles.
I think the only genre I'll likely be playing the most 'till Killzone II is RTS. Between CIV:rev, C&c:ra, WiC and Endwars I don't think I'll have the time for LBP, R:fom II and Motorstor... Nah!! Got to find time for some Motorstorm II :P
Then there's that PS3 exclusive RTS, The Wall, that I'm hoping they show something off at E3. I feel it's going to be massive.
Hey, Hiphopgamer, if you have space on your friend's list (which I doubt you do by now :P) please hit me up on it too.
I always seem to salivate very time I see pics of this game.
Halo Wars is a new IP. It would be idiotic to put a new IP toe to toe with a proven and highly anticipated IP.
Once Halo Wars comes out and garnered a rep then maybe sure but it would be a huge gamble to pull a stunt like that. So far Halo Wars is looking mighty good and may actually turn out to be one of the new elite RTSs this gen but you just never know with RTSs 'till you actually play them.
Welcome to the Red Alert series.
Kinda odd how they use the xbox360 colours for their site name :/ Didn't they notice that?... or maybe they did?
Gosh, if they actually do give MGS4 a 9.5 that would be their first 9+ rating for a PS3 exclusive. Kinda off the wall that they haven't seen it fit to give any PS3 exclusive a 9 or above but then again, this is gamespot.
I do wonder what they'll say to justify a below 9 rating though; maybe they'll pull a R&C and say MGS4 has too much gameplay depth or something.
I will certainly agree with that one.
It's like they want to layed down a big smackdown on the community like - KABLAM! Here's your in-game XMB for Xgame chat. lol
