What is never told to the community by NA gaming sites is that R:fom actually out sold halo3 by over 50,000 copies in JPN. JPN are tasting FPSs a lot more nowadays and I'm feeling Killzone II will surpass R:fom numbers in JPN. Don't know how RII fared though... yet.
we were expecting a CURRENT GEN rendition of RE, not just in graphics. IF the RE series is something you enjoy then great, rent it but putting $60 down for this? Nah, not happening.
Cry all you want about gamers all of a sudden, not knowing what RE is so they're nooobs. The obvious fact is that capcom gambled on relying on just graphics and the success of RE4 to carry this game through.
It's game mechanics are in-your-face very last gen but if you choose to be blind to this then that's good for you. I however cannot justify spending $60 for a game that it's game mechanics are very old.
Rent? perhaps but there are just way too many great current ...
I've stayed away from ANYTHING Killzone II since the third quarter of last year. I don't even go through reviews (gametrailers is ALWAYS loaded with major spoilers for PS3 exclusive titles)
I too will not be down loading the demo. I want this thing to hit me like the smell of fresh baked bread in the morning XD The last I've seen of the game was the pics of the 2008/2007 comparisons and I just stopped everything right there.
They're waiting on gamespot, 1up, gametrailers.. ANYBODY to finish their copy so they can loan it for a play through seeing as they likely didn't get a review copy from Sony hehe.

I so hate these gamers that look to metacritic as some god and a holy grail. If metacritic doesn't tell you it's "AAA" then you obey. These gamers suck big time.

I'd think they'd have taken a page from Valves HL2 and made sure the partner AI was like that of Alex. Bottom line, the game felt like a mess to me with only the co-op being a redeeming factor but not a $60 redeem factor though... not even a $40 one :X
I really thought EVERYONE would jump on the game's nut sack blindly just because of past games and mainly RE4. I hope people stay true to their beliefs and not suddenly do a 180 and claim it to be the second coming just because editorial reviewers slap it crazy with 9+ ratings.

Cause gamespot is the most reliable source of PS3 gaming info and must be trusted.
5 more maps would be bliss. That'll go a long way in fleshing out the map situation. 12 maps is a good level and then more as time goes on. Hope it's a different theme for maps; maybe a Jungle or Snow theme.

Devastatingly broken. It's pretty much meaningless dribble for teenage a gamers to foam at the mouth and help garner "hits"
I've trying to point this out for the past 4yrs.
It's just the end of year 2. The PS3 has another 5 years to go before the PS4 starts making it's waves.
