I don't think you actually understand how this game is pegged to work. It isn't going to be your traditional 8v8 (or for PS3 standards) 16v16 but you don't have to have 200 members in your clan just the normal number like any other clan set up.
Your clan will be in a particular faction and you'll battle with other clans and individuals in the same faction against clans in other factions but you'll do so in pockets but also be able to perhaps help other pockets of squads, in other...

You guys actually believe that multiplatform games are what drives a console to win. It's always been about exclusives. What entertainment can people get ONLY on a particular system.
