Campaign was a sanitized mess. Violence was toned down for kids, the villains were Saturday morning cartoon characters, no blood, marines are basically invincible, no dread, no biome diversity, vehicles are useless and not fun, etc.

Who puts infinite above CE? CE was revolutionary when it came out and STILL plays well today. The level design is great (even if there’s too many repeating hallways but that’s a product of the time), excellent AI and not to mention, it has the most balanced legendary setting out of the entire series. They got it right the first time.

Yikes. I mean it’s better than 4/5 but once again it leaves WAY too much to be desired. Same repetitive map over and over, exact same Ubisoft open world design, vehicles are useless and pointless, the grapple removes the need to even walk, enemies got dumber, the banished are just morning cartoon villains with no depth to them at all, the marines may as well be invincible, the tone is incredible childish and all the blood and violence has basically been removed, it runs like total shit for ho...

You may not care about player counts and viewer numbers but the people who fund these games do. That game isn’t dead but it’s slowly dying. It’s bleeding a lot of players. It’s not that there isn’t any interest, there is. There’s just barely a game to play. Once you’ve played 10 minutes, you’ve played all the multiplayer. Once you’ve played an hour of the campaign, that’s all it is for the next 15 or so hours.
Oof look at you go defending a game releasing with 75% of the content of previous titles because YOU don’t care for that content. Yikes. No wonder they keep releasing these games half baked.
