The people downvoting are really only hurting themselves. 1440p is a very common gaming format and most people I know have their consoles hooked up to the same monitors as their PCs.
That’s what I wanted to do but there was no 1440p support so I bought a tv and NOW they release this?
I JUST bought a 4k tv because there was no 1440p support -.-

Replay it now. It actually played pretty good once you get used to it. It released when physics were really a thing yet and it did things we weren’t used to in the 90s we are now. It’s free on abandonware sites.
The amount of work that needs to go into it requires a full development teams. You need to remember just one of these things has thousands of functions. It’s not like gran turismo where the cars feel different based on some minor changes. These planes behave like their real life counterparts and you operate them the same way.
You don’t open the door, turn on the engine etc in a racing game.
Maybe if they released co op when my friends were still playing and still cared about it…

Updating models and lighting is great. Ported a lot from 2. But they’re not including multiplayer AND charging $70? ($112 after taxes where I live). No thanks. That’s a cash grab. It’s not even the full game. I’ll get it when it’s cheap.

Why should I pay full price for just a visual upgrade? They cut out the multiplayer. They’re reselling you less for more
The only next gen console I own is a ps5. “People like me” already bought the original and the remaster which INCLUDED the multiplayer. This one seems to have completely cut it out so you’re paying MORE for LESS.
Why bring up resident evil? Only own the GameCube and PC versions of that too. Those didn’t also cut content so garbage comparison.

I’m still good. Already bought it twice and this times it’s full price with no multiplayer? The multiplayer is fantastic so that’s a no go from me. That’s bad value, missing half the game.
