I highly disagree about the realism. I loved it. It’s the most immersive game I’ve ever played. The amount of detail in absolutely everything is still unmatched.

Do usually games take into account the actual weight, speed, construction and thousands of controls and electronics to simulate the real life aircraft? It takes hundreds of hours to perfect flying these.
It’s a simulator. It’s not like gran turismo and Forza where they make a model and tweak some of the values. It’s a full on simulation that teaches you how to fly the real thing. Real pilots use these for training.

People in the comments acting as if these planes are like an additional car for Gran Turismo lol. These are SIMULATORS. All of them are like this because a single plane often takes around a year to fully develop and they’re not cheap to develop either.
Learning to fly them is a “game” in it and itself.

This is how REAL simulators have always been. One of these planes has more controls and things to learn than a standard AAA game.
You’re learning an entire flight system that teaches you how to fly the real thing. It’s not like driving a car.
