Um. You clearly haven’t been following what’s been happening to infinite. The entire first MONTH was nothing but bitching about the MTX and the store. Now they’ve moved on to no content and the game is basically dead.

I think the reason the red dead one won was simply…it looks like an actual photograph taken in the moment. The rest look fantastic but they look very staged. They look like something you’d get a poster made of where the red dead looks like something that would be featured in national geographic or a featured work in actual photography circles.

I can see why. The others are really nice but they look super staged. Photography is usually at its best when it captures a real moment that can speak in so many ways.
Whether you like RDR2 or not, that image evokes a ton of imagery. Desperation, loneliness, a long journey, being tired, nowhere to go, everywhere to go, etc. the others, to me anyway, come off more as the kind of thing you’d see for advertising. Which isn’t bad but it just makes the RDR2 image stand out more...

Haven’t touched it in 3 months. Shame as it is my favourite shooter franchise. Well the bungie games. Infinite just isn’t replayable. It’s meta is too sweaty to be fun. The sandbox doesn’t even mesh well. The vehicles make you more vulnerable than they are useful as well so there goes half the fun.
The maps are also not great and all feel the same with 3 lane style design.
The violence is also very VERY light compared to previous games. No blood or assa...
And ACE COMBAT has more planes than DCS. What’s your point? Ones a 1:1 simulator and the other isn’t.
One is also $15 and the other is over $500 if you want all the content at a reasonable rate.
It’s the only console I’ve ever owned almost all versions of due to bad luck lol. My first ps3 yellow lighted, then my second model (slim) yellowed. Still have my 3rd console though. Went through 5 360s however…that gen was terrible for failures. My ps4/Xbox one are perfectly fine and so is my ps5.

Infinite COULD have been it. Everyone was about it. Until they played the same 7 maps 30 times an hour. They finally nailed the gameplay but everything else was lacking.
Dude. It’s been over a decade and they have yet to release a game without major issues. Of course we’re going to criticize them. That studio is a mess.
