A 7.1 Surround Sound setup is REALLY overkill for the average livingroom. But did you know that the cheapest 7.1 Receiver is approx $600, then you have to add on a Subwoofer and 7 (that's SEVEN) Mid-High range speakers. Oh, and on top of it all one would ONLY buy one if they either had a HiDef Projector Screen or approx 50" LCD or Plasma.
