See absolutely NO need to try and break into the Japanese market... especially with an RPG! Seriously! It seems that Corporates are failing to understand that Japan is no longer the "must break into market" it used to be. Europe and America have been pumping out MUCH better RPGs, with fresher stories (no looser kids with soon-to-be-found powers here!), and more interesting mechanics.

I like how you put it. The Persona series is about the only JRPG that has really stood out amongst the highly predictable and horribly cliche JRPGs out there. Despite the fact that they still sometimes use the 2D character pictures during dialogue. GOD I find that cheap... Yet we still find them in current gen Japan releases!

The only thing different is that you can play it under your bed sheets and avoid the embarrassment when mom walks in.
Is it me... or do these improvements (aside from better AI) seem worthless? While various forms of diplomacies are nice things to research, they are NOT game winners in any way what-so-ever! Brute force and shear numbers are the key to winning overall. My friends and I will more than likely not be purchasing this expansion... Despite the large number of hours we put into each game.
