Well without reading the article, outside of good games and power, only an affordable price really matters assuming everything else stays within expectations.

In terms of Xbox vs PS though, I'd imagine that between Microsoft's services that their margins on average are potentially a little higher but Sony ought to have a much larger profit overall.
