yah i know. 1 dragon age game and 2 mass effect games. its about time they stopped milking both those franchises. its getting ridiculous.
most likely dolphin pc emulator.
not necessarily but its almost become the standard now as we are seeing fewer and fewer single player incentives and unlockables in favor of multiplayer. i dont really play any multiplayer games to be honest. im usually just stictly a single player kinda gamer and most of the single player re-playability is given to us in the form of dlc. this doesnt apply to all single player games but its a common occurrence.
im looking forward to this collection. i wish ps3/360 had some awesome stealth games similar to splinter cell.
youre comparison of an action game to a platformer is irrelevant in terms of fun. if david jaffe had his way and was able to go back and do it again he said he would have made it like zelda. so you almost played a zelda clone in the form of gow. it is the same titles and they do need new ips but they manage to create superb titles from 20 to 25 year old characters and formulas. they hold the juggernauts in terms of characters so it seems like they are in no rush to get something new out. it j...
say what you will about nintendos first party studios but at the end of the day those are the type of games people still want to play and will to continue to play for years to come. they own the best titles and characters currently in gaming and that wont change anytime soon. yes, its the same titles weve seen for years but whats wrong with great nintendo games even if they are the same characters? look how far mario has come from the days of the nes to galaxy 2. to say that mario is all the ...
the list for best ps3 games was kind of shallow. it almost seemed like that title should have been changed to best multi plat.
the game is pretty good. its not the best game ever but i enjoyed it a lot. id recommend getting it for 1.49. i mean you cant really go wrong for that price.
with the wii we've seen a spike in 2d games and 2d platformers. we need more platforming games in general though but at least the wii has a solid lineup.
god of war 3 was a fantastic game. the action was unrelenting and the graphics were simply jaw dropping. with that being said i was let down by how quickly it ended. everything was streamlined so the action never stopped but at the cost of play time. i beat it in 6 hours and i wasn't even rushing. it just seemed like a disappointment to pay 65 dollars and be done with it the next day. afterwards you could play the challenge mode and go back and play it on a harder difficulty but there was...
i feel pretty certain that well see a new star fox and pikmin 3 sometime in the wiis life cycle. im just gonna have to wait it out.
@vickers500
i am one of those gamers. i keep all my games i buy so i can go back and play them at later dates or when i get that urge to revisit certain titles. its just that you constantly see people complaining that you dont get to keep the games from the service. its definitely a legitimate complaint but a tired one as of now. of course people want to keep the games but if they allowed you to keep 2 or 3 titles people would sign up, acquire the games and sign back up when ...
heavy rain is a fantastic game but im really glad to see that yakuza 3 got some recognition. it made last but at least it was mentioned and on that list to begin with. i have 70 hours logged on that game and im at around 30% completion rate. theres just way to much content. good list though.
i spent so many hours of my childhood playing spyro.
thats true but are you really going to be playing spyro for 1 year straight non stop? it seems unlikely. the minimum subscription is 3 months. thats plenty of time to fully play and beat spyro multiple times if you wanted. you would probably stop playing it well before the sub expired anyways. if you resubscribe or buy the game you can play it an unlimited amount of times..fact.
i liked epic mickey a lot. the camera can be an issue at times, but for me it wasn't a deal breaker and it wasn't really all that bad. like the review mentioned it did remind me of older 3d platfomers from the 64 days where the camera was always an issue. overall the game is solid though. good review.
i plan on buying an xl soon. like in the next week or 2. ive been wanting one for a long time and i finally managed to save up enough. the 3ds does come out soon so hopefully that'll lower the price a bit more before i make my purchase. even though the 3ds is backwards compatible we all know that there will be a "3ds xl" or "3ds ultra" or something like that. so i wanna wait till they release the 2nd and the 3rd models of it so i wont have to double purchase to upgrade...
gamestop is a business first and foremost. theyre the pawn shop of the video game industry. if they gave you 50 dollars for your new game then sold it for 55 how would they make any money? it seems like it would be common sense to understand youre gonna get half or less than have of the sell value. its not like you have to trade your games at gamestop anyways.
i just bought 3d dot heroes a few days ago and im at the third temple. game is really fun. solid review
i actually liked neir a lot. it combined elements from a bunch of different games but it was still unique and interesting in its own way. a saga would be pretty sweet if they could pull it off.
