Right. There's no prejudice in the USA and there's no Windows or Apple products sold in Japan.
Not just there.
@Dojan123
Good decision. Incidentally, AC4 happened to be my first PS4 game since Watch_Dogs got delayed after I pre-ordered my PS4.
AC4 is a really good game. Plus the PS4 version has been patched to run really well. Hopefully, it won't take Ubi too long to fix the bugs in WD.
What T.U.G. says is true. However, I would say it isn't quite as good as either of those titles (GTA V/AC4). It's not bad either, but it's hard to justify what is worth $70 to different people. If you're worried it's a terrible game, it's not. It definitely has it's problems (bugs, glicthese, etc), but the missions are decent enough.
@Christian
How were you able to pre-order the game without paying a deposit?
If it's as simple as a PSN transaction problem, then it would mostly likely affect PS3 users as well.
@Volkama
Perhaps my analogy does not apply to the situation at hand. Sony did/does not pay UbiSoft to make the game. They're contracted for the license of being able to make the game for the PS4 and Sony receives a royalty.

They are the maker's of the game. The responsibility of having the game available on time for those gamers whose pre-order money they took, is their own.
In the real world, if I was contracted to perform your home renovations by May 27, and I failed to meet that deadline because one of the sub-trades I used (be it a plumber, kitchen manufacturer etc.) caused me to be late, it's still my responsibility.
Whatever the licensing ...
@Codewow
That's one of the reasons why digital downloads have been a double edge sword for gamers. Since they can always issue patches and fix game downloads in the future, there's less pressure to eliminate all bugs before release. Not that perfection was achieved before, but I prefer to wait have my games come out with a level of polish, much like Nintendo still does to this day.
It's nice knowing you can walk into the store and walk out with your copy of the game.
Ah, the UbiShaft.
Licensing issues on release day, for a game that was already delayed half a year. Mind blown.
I remember downloading a bunch of these type of games on Dreamcast a few years ago. I kept skipping screens and was like, when does the game start? Then I realized this was the game. o_o
*Waits for the headline: Watch_Dogs hacked by actual hackers*
It's coming, and will be a glorious Hackception to the dismay of many.
For starters, he wasn't Don Mattrick.
"Thats like saying a taxi driver is "great" simply for being polite and getting you to your destination without getting into an accident. "
What do you consider to be a great Taxi Driver? Being told if the back seat is uncomfortable, you can go ride in another cab?
Yeah, but it's not about how many units they sell. It's all about how many they ship! XD
Xboxes aren't manufactured in the USA and neither are iPhones.

I tested it on a gtx 770 with 4770k processor in 1080p, and it often stutters and lags on ultra settings.
Did it really work out for them? I guess that's a matter of opinion. Let's consider that it barely sold more than half of what it's predecessor the PS2 did (80m compared to 150m), and the fact that it actually cost Sony money. Lots of money. In the billions actually. On top of that, it took 7 to 8 years to catchup to 360's install base numbers and even then it only squeezed into second place behind the runaway success that was the Wii.

Depends on the WD model.

The 3TB Barracudas/DesktopHDD are cheap and fast.
I'm sure Microsoft will have a killer E3. After all, its hard to go wrong following in the steps of Sony's PS4. Now if they just keep focusing on games and giving consumers value, I'm sure they'll pick up some speed.
Anyone consider the possibility that maybe they just weren't particularly thrilled about the games shown, despite the platform?
