It was okay - The game has some serious pacing issues, and I absolutely hated the ending (which was a weird combination of unbelievable and narratively incoherent considering what came before).

Graphics and animations are absolutely incredible though!
Audio is solid as well :D

Gameplay was kinda meh outside combat (combat was fun though).

Story felt forced in some areas, and there were some weird character inconsistencies thro...

I'm enjoying the game.
Coming from an AC: Odyssey completion run, I can definitely feel the open world fatigue, but the game is beautiful and the combat is fun as hell.

I'd prolly give it an 8, good game but not necessarily a must play.

For the AI I just set the difficulty to Hard, that improves the reactionary play a bit.

The combat itself is like a Nioh/Sekiro combo, with a degree of casual thrown in.

Almost no one had an issue with the gay themes though, so I'm unsure if you're trolling or just ill-informed?

Oh Heeeeeelll Yeah!
Nintendo, i surrender. You got my a** hooked again with this one ;)

I honestly wouldn't really care that much. My life isn't sustained by online media, as much as I just use it for entertainment.

Also, I expect people online to be d**ks to each other, so I wouldn't be surprised either :D

As far as I've seen though, ND is overreacting to this.
Granted, the comments are vile, and direct death threats are only issued by non-civilized people, but most of the comments I've seen, are just wishful deaths, or other kinds of angry venting.

If anything, ND is capitalizing on this.
Their official statement mentions being open to critical debate, yet they themselves went after every persona online, whom were critical of the leaks.

People who do stuff like that, are trash.
They should be bound and forced to watch my little pony for the rest of their lives.

Seriously though, I hate the narrative inconsistency in TLoU2 but the VA's did a good job. If anything, blame it on the writers/creators, not the people just following orders.

As a Danish Persian myself, I hate these Diversity teams which companies are creating.
I want to be employed by the power of my damn skills, not by the color of my skin, or my crooked nose.

Shouldn't they care about their consumers as well though?

@mikeslemonade
Bro, you need to calm down man.
Your enthusiasm for the higher price point make it sound like you're a 2k employee or something.

Why would you actively want to pay more, when most games these days are literally 60 bucks at release, followed by 7 season passes and 50 dlc items for purchase?
Those ain't going away just because they get away with raising prices on initial purchase

Whenever a new game announcement starts with "Tencent" being shown, I'm getting cautious at this point

@DrDeath
I said "potential regretful purchases". Emphasis on potential.
Also, there are multiple articles on people who have tried to sell the game already, so in terms of data at hand, your "nobody" holds little to no weight.

@Vx_
Evidence of what?
Basic business models? Commercial psychology? Brand/IP awareness?
I'm unsure what you're looking for here.

The Last of Us 2 sold 4 million copies in 3 days, because of The Last of Us 1 though.
That's not a measure of singular success in itself.

You have to remember that most people probably don't know, or have actively avoided, the spoilers/leaks.
So a lot of those sales would also be potential regretful purchases after the fact.

The Last of Us 1 sold around 17 million units or something in it's lifespan count.
If Part 2 ...

Wouldn't surprise me if they also made sure that the PS4 version will be unplayable on PS5, so they can get more sales

Currently facing rejections on App store connect as well. It's the worst damn experience I've encountered in a long while.
Clause 4.3 apparently, even though the concept is radically different from the so called "spam" apps, and build from the ground up.

Heavily considering just releasing on Android and be done with it.
