Sony could have also bought Zenimax if they wanted to. They've spent more than that purchase over the years in games, music, TV, movies and so on. So while you think Sony couldn't also do the same shows how clueless you are about Sony's purchases and how they are growing

Fromsoftware is owned by Kadokawa. Sony has a 2 percent stake in Kadokawa. Highly doubt Kadokawa would sell their best studio

Except 80-90% of their games were funded and exclusive to Playstation. You can't say the same for Bethesda at all. Bethesda has released many Playstation and Switch games recently too so its pretty idiotic to suggest they're remotely the same. That's some major reach right there.

How is this NOT a fluff piece?! They list a single Japanese Xbox studio, don't even list any other significant franchises coming to Xbox in Japan. I think the disagreement isn't that it would move units, its just so unrealistic and unbelievable that anyone would suggest it could even happen. It would be financially unviable to do any of those games exclusively on ANY Xbox device period. No way would Square or any decent JRPG maker would want to tarnish their reputation pulling that kind of idiocy. Fans would just boycott the release and continue to buy the Switch or whatever device also has JRPGs.

I'm not impressed with the gameplay either. Think I'll wait for Gran Blue Relink instead. I think the worse thing Square did was show this after seeing Elden Ring recently. The original trailer made it seem grittier and darker I feel, then to see the gameplay not match up is disappointing
