Funny all these according to him bangers on Xbox, but, Final Fantasy 16 and 7 part 2 aren't (when part 1 broke sales records). Especially when you keep seeing Hellblade 2 even though it's not dated AND the fact the first game took till 2018-2021 to sell 1 million copies on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch combined.

Spiderman sold 33+ million so its sequel will absolutely demolish Xbox 1st party by itself and it won't be close. Hellblade 1 took 4 years to sell 1 million copies on every platform (Switch PS4 Xbox One and PC) and is extremely niche.
It's funny how Xbox has a couple 1st party games the same people who suggest these games aren...
I get you think the authors logic is bad or maybe they have chosen their words poorly, but, at the end of the day whether you agree or not I would think overall the conclusion would remain the same regardless. Playstation is the better buy at the end of the day. The Xbox is made more for multimedia and Playstation is more dedicated for games. The main focus of a VIDEOGAME console should be the most important aspect, the GAMES.

Sorry this take is so idiotic. PC games generally won't be jumping onto console gaming and the opposite is generally true too. The idea that the games are available on PC at a later date doesn't change the fact that fans would rather play the top games day 1. Well then it makes sense that Playstation would be the best choice then. Their fans intersect where they have the best of BOTH worlds in high 1st party sales AND the biggest 3rd party hits/sales as well. When you add in previous year where they cited steep 3rd party sales decreasing revenues. The articles even point out increased Gamepass doesn't offset these losses too.
