Xbox gamers buy the least games by far. Playstation and Nintendo both have a significantly higher attach rate for games. So not its not the other platforms it's just Xbox gamers that buy so little.
All the major publishers Ubisoft, EA, 2K Activision etc quarterly reports broken down by console show Playstation doubles or more Xbox percentage of games sold by platform.
Is it just me or does every Nintendo game have a expansion pass as well?! Fire Emblem just came out like a month ago and the expansion is already on to wave 2! Xenoblade expansion, Mario Kart Expansion, Splatoon 3 expansion, Smash Bros expansion.
Bet Zelda has an expansion announced within a month of release if they haven't already announced one. On top of the game being $70.

Netflix needed 200 million subscribers to be profitable AFTER 15 years. Not sure how everyone thinks Gamepass which go on sale regularly and had many subbed for a $1 even comes close.
It's not sustainable. Just watch the quality of Xbox games plummet and frequency of games might also be affected as they'll probably have to spread out releases or just lose sales by having games too close.

That's an exception and it's also $30. Go look at Playstation GoW Ragnarok moving 11 million copies in under 3 months will far outsell everything Xbox release this year and will absolutely demolish Xbox 1st party games.

Ouch Orchard just absolutely burnt to a crisp at this point. Remember when he said wait for the Playstation financial statement and then Playstation absolutely crushed last quarter to break the industry record? Absolutely golden. While Xbox was down across the board Playstation was up in every category. Absolutely demolishes Xbox.
Heck I would bet the 11 million copies sold so far for GoW would absolutely crush every Xbox release this year and it won't even be close...
Basically Xbox wanted to bluff at the poker table and try to keep a straight face saying they only want the mobile games and CMA is calling their bluff is all.
If they don't have a pretence and ONLY want the mobile sector then they should be able to let go of the rest. Bluff called.
No seems since they argued they only want a mobile presense at least that's their pretense then basically CMA is saying okay so you want mobile games then buy that and sell off the COD brand and Activision or Activision and Blizzard as well.

Especially since they're claiming they only want a mobile presence as they've told CMA and even Bobby Kotick parroting that mobile is where they see growth. Then by their own arguments and logic then they should be allowed to buy the mobile portion and sell the rest off because they're add ons anyway according to Spencer and Xbox. Unless they're you know lying that is (which is most likely)
But Microsofts OWN reason for buying Activision Blizzard and even Bobby Koticks whole complaint talks about how mobile gaming is the biggest thing.
So logically if and its been stated many times by Xbox that they only want the mobile portion then they can get exactly that. What's the issue here? If Xbox is saying they are only wanting a mobile presence then divesting all the rest shouldn't matter. Unless this would be Xbox admit they're actually lying.

I find it funny that the same people that claim all 3rd person/action/adventure game for Playstation 1st party games are the 'same' and don't do anything different (and therefore don't count) have these imaginary goalpost put on the field for Playstation, but, now Hi Fi Rush comes out and praise the gods it's so so good and different now.
